The Peasant's Quarters has an eat-in kitchen with a full-size stove/fridge. In the bedroom is a queen-size bed. We also have a queen-size pull-out couch. The bathroom has a large walk-in shower and a private entrance with on-site parking. We are not far away from all the fun in Lake Placid/ Lake George or a day trip into Vt. Walk the bridge. Bring your snowmobiles and skis, we have room. We have local cross-country areas and breweries. Book your stay with us for a wonderful winter getaway. The space We live on 7 acres where you can take beautiful short walks. Lk. Champlain is 5 minutes down the road. We live in the Adirondack Mountains with many ponds and streams to fish in. We are also near Burlington, VT./Lake Placid, NY/Lake George, NY. BRING ALL YOUR OUTDOOR GEAR. Check out ROOST/ADK/No. Country Chamber websites for more fun near us. This winter is full of events. Sking in Lk. Placid and VT are just around the corner. Olympic events and winter carnivals, too. Guest access Parking here is free. You have the whole place to yourself. We offer biking/ boating/ snowmobiling/ice fishing/ winter hiking, breweries, wineries, movie theaters, music venues, take-out, and sit-down restaurants. There are great places to take walks/runs/jogs. Please make us your home away from home getaway. Longer stays for traveling professional workers are welcome. Save money on hotels/motels and relax with us. PS: Bring your pet (s). They are always welcome. Don't forget the Olympics, they may not be here, but Lake Plicid is so ready for them. Stay here and go there for the sights and sounds of the Olympics. Other things to note Because of our small-town feel, we don't have a full offering of grocery stores to choose from. We have Stewart's shop where you can get gas, ATMs, etc. They are open until 11 PM. We also have a local farm store where you can buy homegrown products like meats/eggs/bread/veggies/fruits. Sit-down dining is just a few miles away. Come stay a night or a week we would love to have you as our guest. Pets are welcome and you can take them on walks right on the property. There are many short drives to get great food and entertainment venues.
