The little red house by the fjord. If you want to wake up with waves and birdsong in scenic surroundings both summer and winter - then this is the place to recommend. Time for peace and quiet and/or activity. Here you can just sit with the book or coffee cup and look out over the water. Or you can rent e-bikes, play sand volleyball, paddle boards, fish or ski in the winter. Only a few steps down to the beautiful Sandvikstranda and the coastal path that goes both towards Sande and Svelvik. One hour from Oslo. The space The little red house belongs to Sandviken gård, and contains: Hallway with attic stairs to 20 sqm loft with two built-in beds (120x200) Bathroom with combined laundry room, toilet, sink and shower Kitchen with small storage room with extra space also for vacuum cleaner and cleaning supplies Living room with wood stove and water view Bedroom # 1 has 160x200 bed and large wardrobe All rooms have floor heating cables. There is a separate boathouse with room for two people, this can be rented in addition if needed. Not normally included. PS! Bed linen must be brought, or can be rented for NOK 150 per set. Two SUP boards and two bicycles can be rented for NOK 150 per item and per day. The home is from 2009, but built up in old style with high-profile lists, plaid windows, and historic tiles. Sandviken farm was an old farm from the 1800s, but today it is 3 acres and consists of main house, summerhouse, boathouse, the red house and a garage. Guest access In addition to the red house, there is also a boathouse with tables, chairs and extra mattress, this can be rented extra if needed. Large lawn for activity or rest, sand volleyball court, several outdoor areas, terrace overlooking the water. A few steps down to a nice sandy beach. Other things to note Free parking and may be possible to charge car (own price for this) Train station in Sande city center 15 min by car. Bus runs from the main road and into Svelvik, Sande and on to Drammen or Tønsberg. Train to Oslo about an hour.
