Booking implies prior reading and acceptance of all the terms of the listing. It can accommodate up to 5–6 people for a short stay and depending on your weekend plans, but please note that the house is only 50 m² and 1 of the beds is more suitable for 1 adult or 2 children! We therefore offer the option to book for 6 people depending on what you want to do and your habits. So it depends on what you are looking for and the composition of your group (family, colleagues, friends, etc.) This small village house consists of: ✓ On the ground floor: o A kitchen with an old decorative bread oven, equipped with a fridge/freezer, microwave/grill, washing machine, Dolce Gusto coffee/hot chocolate/tea machine, gas stove (NO oven!) o A living/dining room with a wood-burning stove for an evening by the fire, a piano for musicians and some board games to enjoy together, ✓ On the intermediate landing: a small bathroom with bathtub and toilet ✓ Upstairs (entirely under a sloping ceiling), accessible by a staircase (with a safety gate upstairs for the safety of young children): o A landing room with 2 single trundle beds and a smart TV (phone screen sharing and connection to various apps with personal subscription; pay channels are not available: TF1, M6) o 1 bedroom with a double bed 140 x 190 cm (with a low door (requires ducking) that locks) o 1 bedroom with a 160 x 190 cm double bed on the mezzanine, separated from the landing area by a curtain. Please take the following into account: even though this bed is large, due to the sloping ceiling, it is suitable for 1 adult to be comfortable or for 2 children. Very cramped for 2 adults, but it's up to you! In addition, you climb up to it using a very small ladder! Daily exercise guaranteed! Electric heaters and a wood-burning stove are there to warm you up. As we only heat the accommodation and not the planet, consider taking a light sweater if you are used to high temperatures and slippers to be comfortable (the floor of the living room is brick!). We provide free firewood for the first fire and enough to refuel for a while. We can provide it as many times as you wish during your stay, the same amount as initially for 5 euros. ☀️ Is it summer? The ground floor usually stays pleasantly cool. As is often the case in old houses with character, the rooms under the rooftops can be warmer during periods of exceptional heat. Fans are available for your comfort. Easy parking on the street right in front or on the surrounding streets but not possible in the courtyard (pedestrian access only) This is a country house that is more than 2 centuries old with its qualities but also its defects so it does not meet the criteria of contemporary houses, the tiling is not brand new (it is the original brick with many asperities), the floor is not heated, the shutters are not electric, the bathtub is not a spa! But this house is no less clean and comfortable! Lovers of luxury, palaces, new homes and great outdoors, abstain or dare, it could make you change your mind!
