In the heart of the village. The back 1 bedroom cottage of a 1920's bungalow in downtown La Jolla. Restaurants, cafes, movie theater, and more are all within a couple blocks walk. Walk 10 minutes to the ocean. Schools are located on either side of the property, so there are sounds of playing children until the afternoon but peaceful evenings. Bus stop for the 30 line on the corner, that runs to LJ Shores beach, UCSD and Pacific Beach. Off-street parking. Owner lives in front bungalow. The space There is so much close by. Unlimited restaurants, grocery, pocket beaches, the Cove, dry cleaning, car rental. It's in between 2 schools, so there are no 2-story homes looking into the private patio. Guest access Guests have their own dedicated patio with outdoor seating. Dedicated parking space. Access is either through the back by the parking spot or they may use the front gate. Other things to note The cottage is really in an amazing location. Just about everything you need is within a couple blocks - grocery, dry cleaner, good coffee, 3 thai restauraunts, indian, tacos, bank. Locals' pocket beaches and surfing spots are a 10-15 min walk. It's possible to do so much without a car, but the bus line is right on the corner for trips to other beaches. You do hear school children when it's in session but at night it's pretty quiet and there are no neighboring houses with a second story staring into the property.
