This luxurious one-bedroom barn is an ideal bolt hole for a country getaway. It has a quiet village location, no street lights and the Beck to the front of the property. If you enjoy vaulted ceilings, lots of beams with a contemporary feel, then this is the place for you. Need to go to Southwell, Brackenhurst or Nottingham? 4 minutes’ walk away is the bus stop with a direct service (late night too) for Southwell, Brackenhurst or Nottingham. For walkers, there are excellent walks nearby. The space The barn offers light airy accommodation and has underfloor heating throughout. Access to the barn is via a private front door situated in the front courtyard. There is a lounge with leather suite, SMART TV and DVD with double doors opening onto the rear garden, with your own private patio and views to the extensive rear garden. The barn offers a large bathroom with walk-in shower and spa bath, and a spacious bedroom with king size bed, towels, bed-linen and a hairdryer. The modern, fully equipped luxury kitchen with dining table provides all you need for a self-catering break including a double oven, gas hob, microwave, cookware, dishwasher, washing machine, large fridge and separate freezer. Please note, the kitchen is for your exclusive use and is not shared. Wi-fi is available throughout and there is also a dedicated workspace for those who need to work. Outside, the barn has an outdoor fully-enclosed courtyard to the front with your own dining area and gas BBQ and also has a patio with seating to the rear affording views of the host's large garden. The barn is for your exclusive use. It is attached to the host’s house but is private. Guest access Covered car parking is provided at the front of the barn. There is also a large parking area for multiple cars. Other things to note 4 minutes’ walk from the barn is Thurgarton’s village pub, the Red Lion, which offers excellent food and a great atmosphere. Information on the area, attractions and other places to eat etc will be available when you arrive and can be sent to you beforehand if you require. A welcome basket of local produce (including newly-laid eggs from our own chickens) will be ready for you on arrival. We have 2 well-behaved labradors and also free range chickens who will all be happy to meet you when you like (or not if you don't!).
