The Old Cider Barn offers one bedroom, open plan, detached accommodation in an idyllic countryside setting. Only a few miles outside Bristol city centre yet surrounded by fields in the heart of the Chew Valley and within walking distance of the multiple pubs in Chew Magna and Chew Valley Lake. Suitable for guests that want to relax in the countryside, as a stopover before/ after flights from Bristol Airport (less than 4 miles away), or as an evening getaway whilst commuting into Bristol. The space The Old Cider Barn is a separate building to the main converted farmhouse, with its own entrance, so ensures privacy for guests, and secure off-road parking right outside. The owners are close by should you have any queries but have designed the space to give guests their own privacy and access to come and go without needing any formal meet and greet services. Internally the space includes one bedroom with a king size bed and ensuite shower room, an open plan and newly built kitchen, dining area and lounging spot with sofa and smart TV. The view from the lounging area looks across the valley and is wonderful to wake up to and watch glorious sunrises if you are an early bird. The Old Cider Barn does not have its own outside space. However, we are happy for you to wander in our paddock. You may find our own dog (a black Cocker Spaniel) or our kids doing the same! Whether you are coming to relax or work remotely, we have super fast fibre optic broadband. The surroundings: Ample beautiful countryside walks on the doorstep on the outskirts of Chew Stoke and shortish stroll to Chew Magna village high street which boasts 3 fantastic pubs, a coffee shop, a seafood restaurant/ fishmonger, convenience store, pharmacy, traditional butcher, gift shop, and much more. Chew Valley Lake is a 15-20 mins walk away with idyllic views, sailing and amazing fish and chips! Guest access Keys are stored in a secure lockbox to accommodate arrival times at your convenience should we not be around to let you in. Other things to note Kitchenette includes fridge, kettle, toaster, microwave and induction hob plus crockery and cutlery . Towels and linen provided. Optional of bookable gym usage on site Dogs welcome though not on sofas.
