Work and play at the A-Frame cabin in Wilderness Ranch! 30 Minutes from Boise, the airport, and Micron. 30 minutes away from historic Idaho City and The Springs. Minutes away from Boise National Forest and Lucky Peak. Wilderness Ranch offers 28 miles of private roads and trails for walking, hiking, and showshoeing. Level 2 Electric Vehicle charging station in enclosed shop/garage, as well as parking. Adjustable frame bed, adjustable stand-up desk, high speed internet, and well-equipped kitchen. The space The Space: The master bedroom and bathroom are on the main level. The master bed is a king memory foam bed with an adjustable frame (you can raise and lower the head or foot). There is also a futon in the master bedroom/office area. Two twin memory foam beds are upstairs in the loft, accessed by a spiral staircase. This area adjoins its own bathroom with a walk-in shower. We launder and change out the duvet covers after each guest. In the living room is a 50" TV with Firestick streaming. Like to cook? The large, fully equipped kitchen, with spices and basics, are there for you along with a gas BBQ on the deck. The A-Frame has electric heating and AC. Build a fire in the woodstove with provided firewood. Relax and eat meals on the deck, surrounded by trees. Socialize around the firepit and enjoy wildlife as neighbors! Guest access Guests have access to the house and the shop/garage. Level 2 electric vehicle charging station available in the shop/garage. Other things to note Kitchen Disposable to-go containers and cups are in the pantry cupboard to the left. Labeled spices are in the cabinet to the left of the stove. Living Room Towels for dog drying etc. are in the tub near the coatrack. Games are in the corner cupboard near the circular stairway. The TV can be tilted and locked back out of the way and against the wall. More wood for the stove is in the red lidded box on the deck. Master Bedroom The remote for the adjustable bed is on the nightstand. Desk height can be adjusted with touch controls on it's surface. Spare bedding is in a bin in the closet. Bedding for the futon is in a bin to it's right. Laundry soap is in the closet. Extra pillows are in the closet. Votive candles are on the dresser and in the living room. Deck Cushions for the chairs are either on them or in the shop. Firepit During the summer, there is a underground propane tank that fuels the firepit. Just turn on and then light at the firepit. Other times use the fire starters that are inside and stove wood for the regular firepit. Lawn chairs are in the wooden box with the red lid that is left of A Frame. Trash can is near the shop door. Places to walk There are houses around the A Frame, if you go uphill there are less. Go right out of the driveway, then right at the intersection after the fire station. Stay on Wilderness way and keep going up hill. For a good 60 minute loop, head back down (left) on either Meadow or Skyview, then go left on Rush Creek and down. Take another left on Wilderness Ranch Road back to the A Frame. Additionally there are some really nice secluded trails that we can fill you in on if you message or call us.
