Spacious house/cabin with large outdoor area on Bjerkøya

We rent out our "cabin" which consists of a spacious detached house over 3 floors with a plot of 1.3 acres and views of the lake and Holmestrand. The house is located in sunny and quiet surroundings on Bjerkøya, with nice hiking opportunities and swimming areas nearby. The house is surrounded by a large garden and terrace of about 100 m2 with a sheltered "patio" with built-in benches and heat lamp, where you can relax and enjoy life almost all year round. The space The house has 3 floors. It contains, among other things, a kitchen and a large living room with a dining area. The kitchen has most of the equipment with dishwasher, microwave, coffee maker, kettle, toaster, etc. Here you have a good opportunity to cook your own food, if you do not want to use our Weber charcoal grill that is in the garden, or eat out at one of the cozy places that are close to Bjerkøya. There is also a smaller gas grill available. The dining table can be extended so there is room for more than 8 people. The dining area is adjacent to the kitchen and living room, and has direct access to the terrace through large glass doors. From the living room you have a lovely view of the garden and the fjord through large glass windows. There are 3 spacious bedrooms in the house with double beds (2 x 180 cm and 160 cm), with plenty of space for a cot if you need it. In addition, there is a sofa bed in the loft living room on the 3rd floor, where there is also a beautiful view of the fjord and Holmestrand. The house has 2 bathrooms in addition to a small separate toilet. One bathroom has a shower cubicle and has been renovated in recent times along with the toilet. The other bathroom is from the time the house was built, is tiled and has a bathtub with shower options. There is a TV with Apple TV in the house, as well as internet/Wi-Fi. High chair and cot available. Laundry room and washing machine are located in the basement of the house, as well as a Stiga table tennis table that is at your disposal. Other things to note There are several parking spaces on the property in addition to a car-port. We do not allow animals in the house due to allergies. We prefer to rent out for a minimum of one week, possibly a long weekend (Tue-Sun).
