WELCOME TO KE’S PLACE! This ALL SEASONS rustic, private, 4 season, lakefront cottage on Pigeon Lake features 3 bedrooms, 3 full/double sized beds, large bright living room with sleeper sectional, newly renovated kitchen, two large decks, private dock, indoor fireplace, enclosed patio room, outdoor fire pit, and large yard for games and more. Located approximately 1.5 hours from Toronto, this cottage is the perfect place for families and friends to escape the hustle and bustle, relax and unwind. The space Spectacular views! Nothing beats a morning coffee on the dock while the lake is still calm or a night around the campfire looking up are the stars. Full exclusive use of the property (excluding garage). 3 kayaks (2 adult, 1 child - life jackets provided). Cottage stocked with: linens, bath towels, cleaning supplies, garbage bags, toilet paper, paper towels, glassware, mugs, tableware, pots/pan, utensils, coffee pods, sugar, salt/pepper and a few other cooking/kitchen necessities. The kitchen range hood is charcoal filtered, designed for ‘light’ cooking only. Please plan to utilize the BBQ as much as possible. Fishing off dock. Please note, a fishing licence is required. Well behaved pets are welcome, please inquire prior to stay. Pet rules and an extra $50 cleaning fee apply when staying with pets. Pets are not allowed in beds or on furniture, extra charges may apply if pet rules are not followed. Quiet hours between 10:00 PM and 9:00 AM. Strictly enforced. No parties, registered guests only. 6 guest maximum including children. By-Law enforced. Any parties, loud music or excessive noise will be immediately shut down. Pigeon lake is known to be weedy, some seasons are worse than others, and the amount of weeds (and floating weed accumulation) on the shoreline is greatly affected by the weather, wind and water currents. At very weedy times, we recommend bringing a floatie and heading out past the weeds to take a dip. This area of the lake traditionally has warm waters in the summer season. This is cottage country, expect a rustic relaxing experience enjoying the outdoors and come prepare for inclement weather, insects and wildlife. Guest access Minutes away… 1. Emily Trail, hiking. 2. Omemee Public Beach. 3. Lakeside Roadhouse Restaurant/Bar with patio, featuring classic Canadian Pub foods and some traditional Indian cuisine. 4. Free boat launch. 5. Fresh locally grown seasonal produce and egg stand on the street. 6. Pigeon lake sand bar, 15 min boat ride away. 7. 20 mins to Lindsay Drive-In Theater. 8. 25 mins to Bobcaygeon with great restaurants, shops, and original Kawartha dairy. Other things to note On-site manager is located next door to the cottage. 6 guest maximum (including children). Size- Cottage is approx. 1000 sq/ft. Local bylaws require the guest booking the trip to be 25 or older. Guests booking for a 1 night stay must be 30 or older. Recreational equipment such as Kayaks are strictly ‘use at your own risks’. The host will not be responsible for any injury caused by the use or misuse of any recreational items provided for your enjoyment. The patio room is an enclosed ‘outdoor space’ it is not heated or cooled. Expect the climate of this space to reflect weather conditions. Heavy rainfall may cause some water leakage through the enclosure walls/windows. In suite washer/dryer combo unit only available during longer stay (5+ days). Please inquire for additional instructions. If calendar is showing ‘host not available’ for your preferred dates, kindly inquire with your trip details as we may be able to accommodate. Some amenities are only available ‘seasonally’. DOCK IS REMOVED FROM LAKES SEASONALLY (dates vary year to year). No refunds will be giving due to seasonal amenities not being available. Please enquire at time of booking. In winter the driveway and a path to front door will be cleared of snow after significant snow fall (more than 2 inches). All other areas will not be cleared. There is a snow shovel at the property if you need it.
