Pools You are welcome to use our two communal pools: Lingga Pool A 22-meter communal pool, ideal for swimming laps, with spectacular sunset views behind the volcanoes of Java. Madya Pool A beautiful 30-meter shared pool surrounded by greenery, perfect for relaxed daytime swims or lap swimming, also offering breathtaking sunset views over the Java volcanoes. DINING We have three restaurants available for breakfast, lunch, and dinner: Suma Restaurant Fusion cuisine with panoramic views over the hills and Sumberkima Bay. Senja Restaurant Indonesian cuisine overlooking the Barat National Park, with colorful sunset views behind the volcanoes of Java. Mangroove Bay Restaurant Relaxed farm-to-table dining by the bay, easily reached with our free shuttle service. FITNESS & WELLNESS Guests may access our panoramic padel courts and fully equipped functional fitness space, suitable for all levels. Group sessions include CrossFit-inspired workouts, HYROX training, Muay Thai, and functional fitness. Independent training is also possible, with experienced trainers available for guidance. Groove Fitness hosts a complimentary Sunday morning Run Club at Mangroove Bay, accessible via our free shuttle. YOGA & SPA Our yoga pavilion, overlooking the shimmering blue Bali Sea, offers walk-in and private classes with an on-site teacher. The Spa at Sumberkima Hill is open daily from 09:00 to 21:00, offering traditional massages, healing treatments, and beauty therapies. The sauna and ice bath are available daily from 08:00 to 20:00. EXPERIENCES & ACTIVITIES Our experience book, available via our Linktree, features a curated selection of activities and excursions. A resident dive instructor, also involved in the Metamorfosa reef restoration project, is available to visit your villa to discuss diving options and PADI certification. SERVICES & TRANSPORT - Laundry service available - Free shuttle service within the retreat, to Mangroove Bay, and to Bangsal Harbor - Taxi service to Pemuteran Beach available for IDR 75,000 per way. During your stay You can contact the staff of the cabins for any questions you have on the spot. You can come to the lobby of Sumberkima Hill for instance to organise a trip, make a spa or massage appointment or to book a table at Suma or Senja restaurant. A whtsapp number is shared with you to contact the reception, for instance to organise a trip, make a spa or massage appointment, book the free shuttle or to contact both restaurants. You can find experience cards in every villa which contains things to do in the area. For expenses made at the villa, you can pay cash or via our credit card machine suitable for master and visa card. Other things to note Whana Camp Guest Agreement GENERAL Welcome to Whana Camp, where nature takes center stage. This unique stay is part of a meaningful collaboration with the Sumberkima Hill village, supporting local initiatives while offering you a true back-to-nature experience. BOOKING The payment of the deposit confirms acceptance of the terms and conditions outlined below and shall be binding on all guests, whether or not a booking form is signed. INCLUDED / NOT INCLUDED Included in the rate: - Normal use of water and electricity - Tea and coffee - Housekeeping service (on request) - Trash disposal (on request) - Fresh water: a refillable gallon of drinking water is provided on request. Housekeeping Policy: To respect your privacy, housekeeping is only provided on request, free of charge. Please notify us one day in advance if you’d like our team to clean your villa. Service hours are between 08:00 AM and 15:00 PM. If no request is made, our team will reach out after 5 nights to offer cleaning, fresh towels, or linen changes. Excessive cleaning required upon departure may incur an additional fee. Not included in the rate: Breakfast, lunch, and dinner. CHECK-IN & CHECK-OUT • Check-in: from 15:00 • Check-out: before 12:00 noon, unless otherwise agreed. OCCUPANCY / NUMBER OF GUESTS Guests must provide accurate information about the number of people staying in the cabin. If more guests arrive than stated in the booking, Whana Camp reserves the right to refuse entry or charge additional fees. All guests must present a valid ID or passport upon check-in for registration, as per local regulations. COMPLAINTS If you experience any issues during your stay, please contact the Whana Camp reception immediately so we can resolve the matter as soon as possible. SOUND POLICY Due to the hillside location, sound carries easily. Please be mindful of neighbors and keep noise to a minimum, especially in the evening and early morning. NATURE & ENVIRONMENT You are staying in a natural environment where insects and small animals like cicaks and geckos are part of the landscape. The surrounding scenery will vary with the seasons — expect lush greenery during the rainy season (November to May) and drier landscapes from May to November. ANIMAL VISITORS As part of our natural setting, you may encounter harmless local cats, dogs, or chickens during your stay. They are friendly, part of the surrounding environment, and sometimes wander into villas or communal areas. If you prefer not to be visited, our team can help gently guide them away. We ask that guests treat all animals with kindness and respect. In most villas it is allowed to bring pets, but not all owners allow this. An additional fee for cleaning might apply. DAMAGE, LOSS & THEFT Guests are responsible for any damage to or removal of villa inventory during their stay. This includes, but is not limited to, furniture, decor, appliances, linens, and other items belonging to the villa. Missing or damaged items may be charged after checkout. We kindly ask guests to treat the villa and its contents with care and respect. SAFETY & LIABILITY Whana Camp is located on a hillside in a rural environment with natural features, public village roads, and varying levels of height. While we take great care to provide a safe and well-maintained environment, guests remain fully responsible for their own safety, actions, and personal belongings during their stay. Please exercise caution when using stairs, pools, paths, uneven ground, and other natural features, and take care when enjoying any of our facilities. Children must be supervised at all times. By booking and staying at Whana Camp, guests acknowledge and accept that Whana Camp, its owners, and staff cannot be held liable for any injury, accident, illness, loss, or damage to persons or property, except in cases of proven gross negligence on our part.
