Additional details to note: When you arrive at Podere La Gualda Vecchia, we will ask you for documents for bureaucratic purposes, and if you wish, we will share with you the characteristics of the place. Every two days, we collect the rubbish and tidy up the house. We change towels as needed, relying on your ecological conscience. A more thorough cleaning and change of bed linen are guaranteed once a week. Getting Around the Area To get to Podere La Gualda Vecchia, it is recommended to use a car or a touring motorcycle. For cars and motorcycles, there are ample private parking spaces within the structure and they are free only for those staying with us. Podere La Gualda Vecchia is located 90 km from Pisa International Airport. Our advice, to fully enjoy the area, is to arrive by car so you can be autonomous in your movements and explore the Val di Cornia and the Etruscan Coast from both a territorial and culinary perspective. Directions Gualda is a hamlet of Monteverdi Marittimo not far from Bolgheri. The farm is located on a hill at 300 m above sea level. The view spans across the entire Val di Cornia to the peaks of the Island of Elba. To get here, we recommend entering "Podere La Gualda Vecchia" on Google Maps. Unfortunately, car navigators and iPhone navigators do not recognize the correct road to get here well. The outdoor SPA is available to guests by reservation. The exclusive 3-hour wellness experience costs €45 per person for a minimum of 2 people. Exclusive wellness experience A wood-fired hot tub, a sauna scented with wood and essential oils, with nature as a backdrop. The wellness path you will find when you arrive here, baptized by us as "Piazza dell’Acqua" because the chosen plants recall in our minds precisely the element of water, is a place of authentic reconnection with nature. You can walk, placing your feet on a grassy and flowery carpet of Lippia, shower in aromatic and emotional showers, blending with the landscape, and lie down to sunbathe in absolute privacy. Provided for you are a set with wool hats for the sauna, a bathrobe of fine cotton, and seat covers for your comfort.
