Guest access The house elevator is not in use for guests. We also keep the third floor patio door locked for safety reasons. You have access to the 3rd floor deck as the key is in the lock and available for use. The railings are low and we often have guests with young children. Guests are expected to clean the outside gas grill and leave it in good condition. Please only park on driveway or under covered parking area. Do not park on grass on either side of the house (septic tanks). Please do not walk on marsh grass along the side of the house given septic tanks. Other things to note Currently booking full weeks during the summer high season. Please message us if looking for a shorter duration. Upon departure, please ensure that all doors and windows are shut and locked. Additional cleaning fees will be charged if guests smoke, do not clean the outside gas grill, bring pets, or fry food that causes oil and grease damage. We ask all guests to stay off the rocks on the beach and by the deck. This is for safety reasons and preservation of the beach. Bavon Beach is accessed by a public causeway. On rare occasions of extreme weather (hurricane/king tide), the causeway may briefly flood for about 30 to 60 minutes around high tide. This doesn’t affect your stay, but guests should check tide charts when planning travel times.
