Unwind, relax, and create lasting memories in this enchanting haven. The space Darling Acres is a relaxing respite from the city. We are in a rural agricultural area but just minutes from town, beach and wineries. The private guest house is on 5 acres with free roaming chickens and ducks, gardens and pond. Don't be surprised if you hear goats, sheep and donkeys too. There's a nice bistro set on the shaded porch , perfect for morning coffee or sipping wine in the afternoon. The patio offers comfy chairs, fire pit and a gas BBQ w/tools. There is also an LED umbrella for shade during the day or light at night. The patio is a great spot for stargazing as we are away from most city lights. Inside, the small kitchen has everything you'll need during your stay: A two burner induction stove top, Microwave/convection oven, small fridge with freezer, toaster, pots & pans, utensils, plates, cups and glasses. There is also a coffee bar with a Keurig coffee maker as well as a pour over pot and electric kettle. Coffee, tea, hot chocolate, cream and a variety of sweetners are provided for your convenience. The queen bed is super comfy and has views all around. There is a Smart TV with Amazon Prime and Netflix you can pull out and swivel to watch from bed or convert the couch to a lounger and chill there if you'd like. Extra pillows and blankets are stored in the bench at the foot of the bed. Help yourself to the brochures provided. Guest access We live on the farm full-time but the main house is far-removed from the guest house so you'll have plenty of privacy. A keypad by the front gate and lighted driveway allow easy come and go access to the fully gated property. We have free roaming chickens and ducks, plus goats, sheep, and donkeys! As much fun as all the animals can be, we ask guests to please refrain from opening or entering animal enclosures, petting or feeding animals without a host. Likely you will see one or both of us working somewhere around the property during your stay. We are happy to introduce you to the animals, just ask! Other things to note If you travel with animals, please do not book this property.
