Cottage Barry is an ocean view beach cottage, with private access directly onto the beach. A short sandy pathway leads you onto wide-open beaches to the North and beautiful rocky protected coves to the South. Enjoy sea views on our North facing patio by day and listen to the sound of the waves soothing you by night. 9 cottages at Surf Spray are nestled amongst indigenous gardens and if you are lucky, you may meet the local pair of blue duikers who come to graze on our lush lawns. The space Cottage Barry is a self catering beach cottage. Sleeping: The unit sleeps up to 3 guests or a small family of 3 or 4. Main bedroom with a king size bed and en suite bathroom. Additional sleeping option is a pull out sleeper couch with a single mattress which is perfect for 2 young kids or an adult. The cottage is spacious and luminous. Kitchen is fully equipped with a dishwasher, washing machine, large standing fridge, microwave and a large gas stove with electric oven. Perfect for long stays. The spacious living area offers comfortable couch as well as a smart TV and Wi-Fi is available. Light cleaning provided Monday - Saturday North facing patio has a large built in braai and an awning suitable for all weather conditions. We have a Jojo tank for extra water. Parking is provided in a single secure lock-up garage (big enough to fit a land cruiser). Marina Beach is under camera surveillance and has 24-hour security by Masar Security in Marina Beach. Looking for a place to escape the city and disconnect from it all, Cottage Barry is the space to take you away to simplicity and nature. Guest access Guest access to the property on the South of the property. However there is a gate to access also on the north. There is a private pathway to the north of the property which takes you down to the beach. Other things to note The cottage is cleaned by Doris from Monday to Saturday (optional). Incase of water shortages, we do have a 1000l Jojo tank and gas stove when there is load shedding.
