The Snug at Lantern House is a self-contained guest house set in the beautiful country garden of Lantern House. Surrounded by fields, this tranquil home is only 10 minutes drive into the centre of Guildford and a stone’s throw away from the stunning villages and countryside of the Surrey North Downs. Perfect for hiking, cycling or visiting friends and family in beautiful Surrey, but still only an hour’s drive to the coast and 40 minutes train journey from Guildford to London Waterloo. The space The Snug has a cosy bedroom with a very comfortable superking-sized bed and luxurious bedding. The bedroom window looks out over the front rose garden of lantern house. The kitchen/dining/living area has everything you would need for home cooking and bar stools for dining at the breakfast bar. The living space has leather armchairs, a writing desk and a smart TV with all the usual apps for viewing. French windows lead out to the outdoor seating areas and beautiful views over the garden and meadows beyond. Guest access Guests have sole use of the Snug and its dedicated patio space beyond the French windows. Other things to note There is plenty of parking space Alongside the Snug in our private drive.
