Third floor room with king size bed and private bath located in a historic Inn. Great spot for hikers and bikers who want to enjoy all Acadia National Park has to offer. Harbourside Inn, built in 1888, is located on a wooded hillside a few minutes walk from the village of Northeast Harbor. The Inn was designed by the famed architect Fred Savage in the "shingle style" so popular to the Maine coast during the later part of the nineteenth century. The Inn consists of 14 guest rooms which vary in decor and accommodations. The Inn has free wi-fi, hiking maps for purchase, and books and games to borrow. A small coffee service is available each morning, consisting of freshly brewed organic coffee, organic teas, fresh fruit, oatmeal and granola bars. The free Island Explorer bus takes you anywhere on the island. You may catch the bus in the marina, a short walk away.
