Country idyll in Småland

Go to Småland and relax in our beautiful country house, which is located in the Swedish forest. It's 10 minutes by car to the Tikken swimming lake. Our beautiful country house is also home to a small flock of chickens, which mostly take care of themselves, but which you are very welcome to look after and give fresh water. We have set the price low as it is a construction project. There is no bath, but the possibility of a cold shower outdoors. The toilet is flushed with a bucket of water. With this price, we also hope that you can give flowers and the kitchen garden some water. The space You will have access to the ground floor of the house (1st floor is not habitable). It consists of an entrance hall. Two bedrooms with double beds. In the living room there is a daybed and the possibility of extra bedding, so a total of 3 people can sleep. There is a kitchen in a smaller annex next to the house, with an induction hob, dishwasher and all basic kitchen equipment. Refrigerator + freezer are in the living room. Guest access There is access to the entire home, but 1 floor is not habitable. Our place is for you who can compromise a little on comfort and who want a vacation in beautiful natural surroundings with access to a beautiful flower garden. You are welcome to take eggs in exchange for taking care of the chickens a little with fresh water and cleaning out under their perch once while you are visiting. It takes about 20 minutes. Other things to note Our house and garden are a construction project. There is no running water yet, but there is drinking water in the outdoor kitchen. The toilet is a new wall-mounted toilet, and here you flush with a bucket of water you have collected from the rain barrel or filled up with from the garden hose outside. There is no bath, but you can take a cold shower outside. Otherwise, there is the possibility to buy a bath at the campsite and the swimming pool in Tingsryd, which is 8 minutes away by car. However, both the dishwasher and washing machine are connected with the garden hose.
