Charmy cottage near Båstad with glimpse of the sea

Charming summer house on the beautiful Bjäre peninsula, close to Båstad -Torekov. In Villa Sigurd you are close to the sea with miles of beaches, fantastic forests with hiking trails and several golf courses. A lush garden with lot of greens, and a view of the sea. The house has been carefully renovated over the years with a focus on natural materials. We offers five beds, a large terrace for dinners and easy socializing for the family. In short, everything you need for a lovely vacation. The space The house is located in Förslöv in the northwestern part of Skåne. A charming older house from the late 19th century. The house, which is located on a quiet cul-de-sac, is surrounded by a large, lush garden with a lush vegetable garden. The building has been carefully renovated in recent years with a focus on natural materials. The house is approximately 70 square meters spread over two floors with a sloping roof on the second floor. The ground floor has an inviting open plan where socializing and closeness are in focus. The kitchen has a new dishwasher, a new large fridge and freezer, an induction cooker and a fully equipped kitchen. There is also a modern bathroom with toilet, shower and washing machine. On the cozy upper floor you have a view of the sea, the lush garden and the Kullaberg nature reserve. There are four beds here and if more beds are needed, there is also a sofa bed downstairs. In the spring of 2025, we built a spacious terrace with access from the house. Here you can enjoy your dinners or doze in the sun lounger while looking out over the lush garden. With sun most of the day, it is a given place for socializing and relaxing. In the inviting garden of approximately 1400 square meters there is garden furniture and space for relaxing and playing. There is also a large garden with organically grown vegetables and occasionally there is the opportunity to buy fresh vegetables at a good price. A few minutes walk away you have the ICA grocery store and the Heberleins delicatessen. The store is a must if you like delicacies such as locally produced meat, charcuterie, cheese, ready meals, groceries, freshly baked bread and fruit and vegetables. The village also has a restaurant, bakery with fresh bread and nice Swedish coffee, two pizzerias and shops with locally grown organic food. In the nearby village of Vejbystrand there is another, slightly more well-stocked, grocery store. Förslöv has a train station where you can conveniently and easily get to nearby places such as the tennis city of Båstad and cozy Ängelholm. A drive away you have the fantastic nature reserve of Hallands Väderö and Hovs Hallar near Torekov and on the other side of the bay is the next nature reserve - Kullaberg among the popular Mölle, Arild and Höganäs. There are also a couple of popular golf courses in the vicinity and for those who want to try Stand Up paddle, or maybe yoga, there is the opportunity to do so in Båstad. If you want to see our beautiful neighboring country Denmark, you can get there in 2.5 hours by train or 1.5 hours by car. Bath towels, hand towels and bed linen can be rented for a small cost. On request it may be possible to purchase final cleaning if you feel like checking out with the holiday feeling left when you leave us. Unfortunately, cats, dogs and smoking are not possible because we have allergies in the family. NOTE: The stairs to the second floor are a bit steep so it is less suitable for younger children. Welcome to Villa Sigurd : ) Guest access: Guests have full access to the main house and most of the garden, but not to the orchard. Note: Sometimes a gardener is in the orchard to water and harvest vegetables. Sometimes a gardener also comes to mow the lawn.
