A Stone Mountainhouse - Vila., located in the Nature Keeping you save and health, fully equipped, built in the secluded mountain region of the Village named Doumena. Situated 15-20 minutes from the Kalavryta city, 25-30 minutes from the Kalavryta ski resort and 30 minutes from the Diakopto beach, this is an excellent option both for summer and winter holidays. We are located in a NATURA place in North Peloponnese country site. The space Place: You are actually in the mountains, and the altitude in the courtyard of the house is 825 meters from the sea level. So, please note that being in this house you will be absolutely in the nature, away from any noise and technology that may bother you. You will always be safe if you take care of basic and simple daily issues. Your living at home is safe even at extreme low temperatures. We suggest that you respect nature, but do not be afraid of it. Guest access All the premises of the Stone Mountainhouse - Vila. Routes in / around the Village: In the village Doumena, which is located the house, is a NATURA place and you will find a variety of roads and paths around you, with unique and beautiful paths and especially above the village, where most of the mountain during winter is usually snowed. You will find many sources of natural water (spotless to drink) at the base of the mountains and on your paths. There are many routes to the surrounding mountains, especially for mountain cycling with many and almost parallel roads, straight ahead from the house walking approx. 500 to the hills, then left after 800 meters you see a small forest of Pines. and farms of grapes trees. Just 200 meters before that forest you turn left down to the road and after 800 meters you meet the main road going left and after 500 meters left to the sign Agios Vlasios and 200 meters you are back to the house. But you may also go downhill left from the small road of Agios Vlasios to the village in 500 meters you find the old school (with the large enclosed stone wall), just after the small river, you see it on the left, where your kinds can play in the garden. Just 50 meters before that you go right towards the "center" of the village, you go having in your left the river and following the way down below to the great old Church - stone made, where the paths are softer. Then you may go right on the small road and after 200 meters you are again to the main road, right in 300 meters you find the sign of Agios Vlasios, you take left the road up to the house. Other things to note Access to the Stone house: Access to the house is from the main entrance from the west side. However when you are at home it is better and more efficient to move from the terrace where it has 3 entrances to the balcony doors. Please NEVER leave the keys on the door (from inside). If you forget them, you will NOT be able to get in easy. For convenience, we recommend that you have the keys in a specific place, for example, in the left hand corner of the fireplace, and set one / one of you to be responsible for taking them before you leave and another Recalls and controls it. Please GET the keys with you when you leave the house and lock before leaving, just closing the garden front door, if you are absent for a long time. Heating System: The heating system is just 6 meters from the house and the Gas burner is located on the front and left of the house in the small warehouse. The system is using gas and it is working automatically, based on the internal panel next to the balcony door. The system burner is located in the small house just on the left of the house. It is automatically controlled and the special gas supply pressure control should be pressure level 2. Please DO NOT change the temperature of the heating unit / inside control panel to be at normal 19*C, and NO more than 21* C MAXIMUM. The system heats up continuously and renews its heating based on the internal control panel and the Boiler water for the two baths etc. Fireplaces / Fire Management: There are two (2) fireplaces - ne in the entrance floor and one in the first floor. At very low temperatures to take the first temperature in the home In the Heavy Winter, it is good to have it warm up and running within the day the fireplaces even in late afternoon 2-3 hours to additional warm up it. For practical reasons (rain, etc.) a quantity of wood will always be in the small depo under the BRPQ warehouse for a 48-hour period. There are always on the next side of the garden and other woods as a reserve. Please do NOT leave the fireplaces on fire (no fire, only coal) to be in operation when it is to leave the house. It is good if their fire is in a suppression, or it has gone out. Please ALWAYS put the protective cover in front of the fireplaces at EVERY TIME and ALWAYS before we leave. Window control: Please DO NOT leave the exterior windows, especially on the first floor, when it blows very loud, just close them at least slightly by grabbing their iron handles if you want light. Breakfast: At our house we offer a great variety of rustic - handmade sweets and especially a range of jams for your breakfast. It is all made of our own pure fruits of our garden, and of our estates in the area. You can try them all at breakfast at will, but please make sure that they are properly closed. Food and beverages supply: In the house we provide In the village of Doumena, as in most of the surrounding villages area, there is nothing to buy as a feed, except in Kalavryta (about 15'-20 'by car), or in Aegio (about 30' by car), so Do your supplies with some programming. Kalavryta has many taverns and restaurants with many choices. It also has many taverns around Kalavryta and the route to the Kalavryta Ski . Please refer to the safety info / contacts list details of safety, and security tel. / emails of the Police, fire police, Hospital, Ski resort and food supply) in the one page document listed on each of the two (2) refrigerators in the entrance and first floor. Ski Resort: Also noted that all the shops operate all year round in hours as valid in tourist areas, i.e. 09.00' am -09.00' pm and weekends. Of course the restaurants and taverns are working longer during eve. Cleanliness: Please do NOT throw away garbage of any kind, inside or outside the house or on the road or on any of your journeys in the area. Please use the corresponding bins on your way to the village, left at just 300 meters next to the school, or further away on the road to Kalavryta. It and other Devices: Please use electrical household appliances with care at the end of their use to make sure they are closed.
