Bright and Airy Private Apt -Two Blocks from Metro

Stay in this chic and stylish private, basement studio apartment during your visit to Washington, DC. Our place has been recently renovated and features lots of light, a spa-like bathroom, a kitchenette, and a private entrance with a Smart Lock. The space is crisp and clean. Perfect for 2 people. The apartment is located two blocks from the Petworth metro station and near several bus lines. Use public transportation to get to the National Mall in 25 minutes or drive in 15! FREE STREET PARKING! The space Make yourself at home in this entirely private sunny studio apartment with a bedroom nook. It has high ceilings and a spacious closet with barn door and lots of hangers, a dresser and two nightstands. The bed is queen sized with two hypoallergenic pillowy down-alternative comforters. A large egress window in the room allows for plenty of natural light, as well as a full light door for the entrance. There is a dining table (counter height) that fits two people. The living area also has a stylish loveseat and flatscreen TV during your stay equipped with an Amazon Firestick and Sling. We have a Dreo Tower fan for your comfort. The unit has a full-sized all-in-one washer/dryer The kitchen includes: 2-burner induction cooktop that you can store out of the way when you’re not using it, Green pan ceramic cookware, Ninja Foodie XL countertop over/ air fryer. It’s comparable to a full oven and fits a frozen pizza, baking pans, and is large enough to fit a 5 lb chicken or 12 lb turkey! Full sized fridge/ freezer Full sized dishwasher Nespresso Vertuo Machine + free coffee (or tea), Toaster, Water Kettle, Garbage disposal This unit is accessed through its own private basement entrance in the rear of our house, through a beautiful little patio, next to our garage that faces into the alley. The patio has a bistro table and chairs for outdoor dining. We have a wooden privacy fence with a code lock on the gate for added security. We also have a security camera that faces out into the alley and backyard. The alley is wide and well lit. The entrance is at the beginning of the alley (only one house in from the street). The entrance to the unit requires you to go down a few stairs to access the door. We keep the area well lit during the evening with stings of lovely cafe lights. Guest access Guests will have access to the entire basement apartment using a keyless smart lock system There are stairs inside the unit lead up to a private residence that guests do not have access to. A door locked with a deadbolt separates the units and we have taken sound mitigation measures, including hanging a soundproofing blanket, to minimize noise leakage. We take every effort to minimize noise when we have guests, but it is an old house and like many old houses in DC, you may hear footsteps and muffled voices at times from We abide by the Airbnb 5 step cleaning process at all times. Other things to note: We have two small children so we ask that you follow quiet hours from 10pm-7am. We try to keep our space family friendly, so we ask that you do the same (i.e. no smoking, parties, drugs, etc.). We try our best to give you the quietest space possible, and please give us some grace as we try and minimize the noise they may make. If you have any questions, please don't hesitate to ask us.
