Half Moon Pond Family Cottage

Our charming summer cottage is located on a double lot on beautiful Half Moon Pond. This one bedroom cottage was built by our father in the late 1950’s and sits roughly 100 feet from the water's edge. It has beautiful Douglas Fir flooring, multi-paned windows & doors and a fabulous 1950’s slant back kitchen sink, all of which lend the cottage a unique vintage appeal. We would love to welcome you to step back in time as our guests at our favorite summer place, our Half Moon Pond Family Cottage. The space Our cottage, owned by sisters Gail and Lori, is centrally located in mid-coast Maine. The mid-coast area offers great sight-seeing, hiking, dining and shopping experiences. Our cottage has one bedroom with a queen sized bed and a set of bunk beds which can be separated by a privacy curtain. This is perfect for a couple or a small family. A futon is also available in the living room for extra sleeping space. The kitchen has a full size refrigerator and range. We recently constructed a bathroom addition with a full shower. Guest access Guests have access to the entire cottage as well as the waterfront which includes a dock, a float, a canoe and two single person kayaks. Adult size life vests and paddles are included. Lawn chairs, a picnic table and a gas grill are also provided.
