The Hideaway at Mystic Falls offers more than a place for The Vampire Diaries fans to stay. It offers the chance to step inside the world of the show. From oversized paintings seen in the Salvatore and Lockwood mansions to a screen-used Mikaelson coffin reupholstered in red velvet and mounted in the living room, the experience is designed to make you feel less like a viewer and more like a character within the story. The space Filled with antique furnishings, intricate vintage details, and screen-used art and props (including a wall-mounted coffin), The Hideaway evokes elegance and drama. The main living area features plush velvet seating and an oversized sofa, perfect for relaxing, unwinding, and binge-watching The Vampire Diaries. Just off the living room, a small vintage two-seater bar invites you to linger over a drink. Whether that is a cocktail or a blood bag from the dedicated mini fridge is entirely up to you. Selfies in front of our red velvet-lined coffin are the perfect gothic memento. The heart of the home, the kitchen, features the iconic painting that once hung to the left of the Salvatore mansion fireplace. Throughout the house, attentive guests may notice unexpected details, subtle clues, and story-driven moments designed to deepen the experience for those who enjoy discovering what lies beneath the surface. BEDROOMS Our three bedrooms are themed by mood and era. The Red Room Intense and luxurious, featuring an intricately hand-carved bed, personal vanity, and vintage photographs, including an image of a young Stefan. The Blue Room Cool and aloof, with candlelight at the bedside, classic literature for late-night restlessness, and a portrait of Damon circa 1864. At the foot of the bed hangs a painting once displayed in the Lockwood mansion. The Pink Room Opulent and decadent, with an ornate king-sized bed, personal vanity, red velvet couch, and photographs of Katherine, Stefan, and Damon from the era of 1864. Indulgent enough to satisfy even Katherine herself. OUTDOOR SPACE Enjoy evenings around the backyard fire pit, perfect for winding down after a day in Mystic Falls. In the morning, take a three minute drive or a fifteen minute walk down Floyd Street, past Caroline and Elena’s houses, into the historic square. Visit the Clock Tower, grab coffee, browse local boutiques, and enjoy a meal at the Mystic Grill. OTHER THINGS TO NOTE We love making your experience extra special!
