Hotel Hall, Mary B's House

Hotel Hall, Mary B’ house is the entire downstairs of a duplex in the Central Gardens area. It was dubbed Hotel Hall decades ago by a poolside visitor as the place where you go to visit for a week and stay for a month. Noted for hospitality and comfort it just made sense to turn it into a BnB. The place is over 100 years old and the décor is midtown eclectic, or as my Mom, Mary B, would say: Early American Attic. Host lives upstairs and happy to assist...or just give you space. The space Master BR in suite with tub cut out for walk in shower. New Queen bed. Tv Roku Middle BR with full bath down the hall. New Queen bed. Tv Amazon Firestick Lots of character furnishings, but new sofa, couch, stove, and refrigerator. Tv in LR with Roku and DVD player. Spa room opens out to the hot tub and pool. Tv with Antenna and a large DVD collection, puzzles, and games. The couch pulls out to Full Bed that can sleep 2….cozy. High-speed internet. The pool is 12 x 28 max depth 4 feet, with a shady deck area, fire pit, grill and hot tub. You have access to this shared space with upstairs residents, friends and family. Pool open mid April to mid October. On-site parking for 4, but only 2 spaces for guests, ample free street parking. ~Downtown Memphis is 10 mins ~Graceland is 13 mins ~Memphis Zoo is 6 mins away. ~Simmons Bank Liberty Stadium is 4 mins. ~Memphis International Airport is 13 mins ~Playhouse on the Square 4 mins Guest access Full access to the downstairs unit. Share the pool, hot tub, grill, deck area Other things to note resident on site living upstairs listing. So you may hear some upstairs walkin about and such. And…it is a very old place. You do have the whole downstairs unit and access to the shared outdoor space. There is always a big Memorial Day, 4th of July and Labor Day pool party. You are so very welcome to join and enjoy. It is a theatrical crowd. If this in not your ‘cup of tea’, please pass and join us another time. As an accessibility note: there are a few steps to get into the unit from main rear entrance. There are no stairs in the unit and the master bath has been cut out to allow a one step entrance to shower. Also. No children under 13. No parties. No events.
