A quiet retreat in a picturesque valley, in the quintessential village of Berrynarbor. Set in a beautiful garden. Ideal for romance/relaxation, surfing and walking. Guests are welcome to explore the garden with its enchanting paths, that lead to a number of seating areas, including the hillside star gazing area, complete with fire pit. The Cwtch is within walking distance of the coastal path, the beautiful beach of Broadsands and Watermouth harbour. There are two pubs within walking distance. The space Set in a lovely location; Fall asleep to the sound of the stream and wake up to birdsong. There is a real feeling of space in the Cwtch with its tall ceilings and white interior. It comprises of the following areas; A living area with a small table and two chairs, microwave, coffee machine, fridge and gas hob. There is also a wood burner here for the colder days, complete with an initial supply of wood and fire-lighters. A fully fitted bathroom with electric shower, WC, heated towel rail and hand basin. Towels, dressing gowns and toiletries provided. A bedroom with a good sized, really comfortable, double bed which can be accessed from both sides. There is an additional heater in this area. This is a peaceful haven where you can fall asleep to the sound of the stream. Please note there is no TV or Wi Fi provided as the emphasis is on getting away from it all. However, you should be able to get a decent signal using your own data. CD system provided so you may like to bring your own cd’s. The outdoor space is enclosed and private with a seating area looking onto the mature garden with its well established trees and shrubs. This area also includes a hot tub ( to be booked in advance with an additional cost) and bbq. Behind the Cwtch there is an outdoor shower for cleaning dirty dogs or beach/surfing gear. The garden is a big feature of this property with numerous winding paths for you to explore. Look out for the inspirational and thought-provoking signs to uplift your spirits. Enjoy the seating areas, relax and listen to the birds. Guest access Guests have private use of the entire shepherds hut and enclosed patio area. They are also welcome to enjoy the wider garden area with its paths and seating area including the hill top star-gazing area, complete with fire-pit. There is a parking area specifically for the Cwtch guests. Other things to note Bailey, a very friendly Clumberdoodle lives in the cottage and enjoys playing in the garden. He will enjoy seeing you, along with any friendly dogs you may bring along with you. The hot tub is usually available throughout your stay but there will be an additional charge of £20 if you want to use it. This needs to be prearranged with the host and paid on arrival. If you are walking the SW coastal Path and need picking up or dropping off to complete the next leg of your travels we will be very happy to support you whenever possible.
