Description
Deer Run is a campsite which extends from riverfront back to middle of campground. There are plenty of shade trees to pitch your tent underneath or lounge in a hammock looking up at the trees. A natural rock firepit for mellow campfires, a 6 foot picnic table, trash can, and private rustic toilet with E-series seat & extra bags provided Solar shower bags if available. 2 TENT/2 VEHICLE LIMIT. Nature all around, with sounds of owls and insects singing at night for peaceful sleeping. Paradise!! The space 58 acres of private land with Host house on site. Riverside campsite with 9 spacious tentsites, each with a six foot picnic table, rock fire pit, Solar shower bags when available; private rustic toilet with E-Series seat for camper comfort! Trash can and bags provided and disposed of. Hiking in natural areas on property is permitted. Swimming, fishing, and floating. Lots of things to do close by including antique/boutique shopping, Pilot Mountain and Hanging Rock State Parks, wineries. Campsite is very private. Must have 4WD to access. Parking at campsites. 2TENT/2 VEHICLE LIMIT. Guest access Any part of the 58 acres of private land area can be used for hiking and exploring, with exception of yard surrounding Host houses and any outbuildings. Guests can only access the river using the two river access areas at campsite, to protect the natural barrier and the guest. Other things to note All Guests must sign Waiver of Liability upon check-in, citing they are aware of the risks associated with camping, hiking, swimming, and any activity they or their children may participate in while staying at Carl's Campsites. Must have 4WD due to steep terrain. No ATVs or dirt bikes permitted. Tents only. May pitch two tents on each campsite if desired. Pets allowed if up to date on vaccines and non-aggressive. Firearms, Fireworks are not permitted at any time. Fires in rock pits only.
