We look forward to welcoming you to our home in Forest Hills, Queens, NY, conveniently located close to LGA and JFK airports, and 20 minutes by subway (train) to Manhattan. Points of Interest: - 2 blocks to 108 street (Q23 bus stop, grocery stores, banks, pharmacy, restaurants, laundromat) - 71 Continental express train station to Manhattan (~15 min walk or Q23 bus) - 1 block to Flushing Meadows Corona Park (4th largest park in NYC) - 20 minute walk to Arthur Ashe Stadium (US Open) The space The room now has a AC Unit! The room has a study desk with a comfortable chair. Also, the bathroom is big and has a bathtub. Guest access Entire Room, private bathroom, backyard. Other things to note Located in the lower level of our home. Kitchen is NOT included. We are 2 blocks away from the Q23 bus. The Q23 bus stops right near the Forest Hills/71st Continental subway station. The bus ride takes about 10 minutes to the train station. From this station you can take the express trains E and F to the City. After paying the bus fare, there is a free transfer to the train. This is NOT an entire house; it is an extension to our home (attached), where we reside . The space is completely private meaning there is private entrance, bedroom, and bathroom, so you will have complete privacy. You can park the car on the street for free. However, Street Cleaning is on Thursdays and Fridays 11:30 AM to 1:00 PM, so please be sure to follow the signs, and park on alternate side during these times. Cleaning during COVID-19: We are strictly following enhanced cleaning protocols per CDC guidelines. This includes ventilating the room before we clean, cleaning and sanitizing all surfaces with disinfectants, and washing all linens and towels at the highest heat setting. The cleaning company uses protective gear (masks and gloves) while cleaning.
