The Interlude of the Wash-House

Take it easy at this unique and tranquil getaway, perched on the side of a small medieval village. A timeless break to discover the Entre-deux-Mers. Enjoy the charm of Castelmoron d'Albret, the smallest commune in France, as well as its rich history, talented artists and craftsmen! The space In this atypical accommodation, attached to the rock on which our village is perched, you can enjoy the calm and freshness. You will enjoy a peaceful view of the garden and the water lily pond and privileged access to our small garden. 🏡 We have taken care to arrange it by favoring natural materials and second-hand furniture as much as possible. 🌍 We also wanted to showcase the talented artists and artisans of our village for the decoration. 👩‍🎨 ⚠️ Cleaning and basic products not included: This is a self-managed accommodation: the entrance and exit are completely autonomous and cleaning and basic products (sheets, towels, tea towels etc.) are therefore not included. On request, if you can't bring your own linen, we can provide you with a sheet kit that will be charged an extra €15, or €5 per person for towels (price of the dry cleaning service). For the well-being of the next visitors, please leave the listing in the clean condition in which you found it. 🙏 The accommodation consists of: - A large bedroom and living room, equipped with a queen size double bed, two armchairs, a small wardrobe, a trunk and a small desk. This room has the distinction of hosting a piece of the rock on which our house is built. This gives it natural air conditioning: it stays cool in summer and is very good in winter! - A small kitchen equipped with a gas stove, oven and small fridge as well as a kettle and toaster. A small high table (wine barrel) will allow you to eat and have an aperitif there. - A nice bathroom, with large bathtub, sink and toilet. - A quiet terrace located above the garden and equipped with a table and chairs. It is sunny in the morning and shaded the rest of the day. The terrace gives access to the garden via a small old stone staircase. - A separate entrance (street side) with a washing machine, a shoe bench/rack and a small storage cabinet for household products. Other things to note This atypical accommodation has stairs, doors and steps requiring good dexterity. Unfortunately, it is not suitable for people with reduced mobility or difficulty passing through narrow spaces.
