This lovingly restored vintage mobile home has been thoughtfully reimagined into a cozy retreat on 35 peaceful acres, blending timeless character with modern comforts. Just 10 minutes from Middlebury College and 45 minutes from Burlington Airport, SunnyVale is the perfect place to explore Vermont, chase fall colors, reconnect with nature, unwind under the stars, and make yourself at home. The space Step inside and you'll find a space where vintage character meets modern comfort. Every room has been thoughtfully designed to create a warm, inviting retreat that feels both timeless and comfortable. With two bedrooms, two full bathrooms, and a fully equipped kitchen, you'll have everything you need whether you're visiting Middlebury College, enjoying a family vacation, or escaping for a quiet weekend in Vermont. While Vermont summers are generally mild, we install two air conditioning units during the warmer months to ensure SunnyVale stays cool and comfortable. Most guests spend their days exploring Vermont's charming towns, hiking nearby trails, discovering local shops and restaurants, or simply taking in the beauty of the Green Mountains. When it's time to relax, SunnyVale is ready to welcome you home. Gather around the table for a family game night, challenge someone to a card game, or settle in for a movie on the 55-inch Smart TV with Disney+, Hulu, Netflix, and access to your favorite streaming apps. Need to check in with work or share photos of your adventure? Our high-speed fiber WiFi has you covered. Cell service can be limited depending on your carrier, but that's all part of the peaceful Vermont experience, making it just a little easier to disconnect from the noise and reconnect with what matters. Outside is where SunnyVale truly shines. Start your morning with a cup of coffee on the deck as the countryside comes to life. Fire up the grill for dinner, gather around the fire pit beneath a sky full of stars, and settle into an Adirondack chair with nowhere to be and nothing to do. If you're ready to stretch your legs, explore more than a mile of private walking trails winding through the property. Whether you're looking for a peaceful stroll, hoping to spot local wildlife, or simply craving a quiet moment in nature, you'll find it here. Located just 10 minutes from Middlebury College, SunnyVale is the perfect home base for campus visits, Vermont adventures, spectacular fall foliage, and everything the Champlain Valley has to offer. We hope you'll leave feeling refreshed, reconnected, and already planning your next stay. Guest access The Garage is the only structure on the property that is not accessible for guests. All other areas of the property are accessible to guests. There are over 1 mile of cleared hiking paths on the property, a marked path just to the side of the garage will take you to the beginning of the hiking loop. Other things to note SunnyVale is the perfect place to disconnect from the hustle and reconnect with nature. Our high-speed fiber WiFi is great for streaming, browsing, and staying connected during your visit. However, due to our rural location and occasional connectivity fluctuations, we don't recommend SunnyVale for guests planning to work remotely full-time during their stay. Cellular service also varies by carrier and can be limited in some areas of the property. We're dog lovers ourselves and know vacations are even better with your four-legged best friend. We happily welcome one well-behaved, house-trained dog under 30 lbs per stay. To help preserve the property for all of our guests, we do not allow multiple pets or animals other than dogs. SunnyVale sits just below the crest of a hill on a quiet country road. While traffic is generally light, vehicles traveling downhill have limited visibility of the driveway entrance, so children and pets should always be supervised outdoors. You'll also discover several unique pieces of antique farm equipment throughout the property. They're part of SunnyVale's charm, but please admire them from a distance rather than climbing or playing on them. Life in the Vermont countryside comes with incredible views, fresh air, and abundant wildlife. Along with the birds, deer, and other woodland visitors, you may occasionally encounter insects or other critters. We have regular pest control and do our best to keep them outdoors, but Mother Nature sometimes has other plans. Keeping doors closed and food properly stored goes a long way toward helping us keep the indoors comfortable for everyone.
