Blackstone's Lakeside Retreat Unite, Unwind, Reset

A truly stunning newly renovated 5 bedroom cottage located in the Georgian Biosphere reserve. This beautiful cottage is located on a private bay with 1300 ft of water front and 70 acres of pristine forest. The large dock offers a place to relax with family and friends. A paddle boat and double kayak are available for use. Blackstone Lake is connected to Crane Lake via the Blackstone River, perfect for exploring and great for fishing. A marina is located on the lake to launch your own boat. The space This 2300 sq ft. cottage can accommodate up to ten people. The cottage boasts an open floor plan with a new gourmet kitchen and a large 8 ft. island offering plenty of sitting room. This bright and sunny kitchen was designed and featured in the Brooklace Kitchen and Bath page “Blackstone Lake”. The fully equipped kitchen offers easy access to BBQ grilling area and beautiful views of the lake. There are five bedrooms and two and a half bathrooms. The second floor is the master suite with queen size bed, ensuite bathroom with soaker tub, office and full views of the lake. The main floor hosts two bedrooms one with a double bed and one with a queen size bed and a full three-piece bathroom. The kitchen, living area, fireplace and mudroom are also on the main floor. The lower level is a walk-out to the lake. The large family room, and two additional bedrooms, one with bunk beds and one with a queen bed. There is also a two piece bathroom and full laundry room (available for minimum two week rentals) . Enjoy the expansive back deck overlooking the lake, eating meals at the dining table or relaxing on the comfy furniture in the screened in gazebo. There is also a front deck with a gas barbecue and a perfect spot to catch the evening sun. For outdoor activities there is a lawn area and a large fire pit with benches for evening bonfires and watching shooting stars! Guest access There are two parking areas that can accommodate up to 5 cars. Other things to note Swimming is off the dock. There is a ladder to access the water which is approximately 14 ft deep off the end of the dock. The water is pristine with no weeds in the swimming area. There is a swim raft that you can relax on and dive off of. There are beaches close by-one on Blackstone Rd. that you would pass by on your way in and Foley Matheson beach ( see guide book for more info). Blackstone lake has great fishing. The lake is known for: bass, pike, walleye, trout and muskie. There is a marina located about 5 minutes away by boat-Anglers Inn, 55 Blackstone Lake Rd., The Archipelago. A fee is charged to put/take out boat. The property is 70 acres and is a paradise for dogs. Dogs can access the water via the shoreline and have plenty of space to explore without the worry of being too close to the road or disturbing other cottagers.
