Azores Green Woods Villa is a villa with modern architecture and with excellent conditions for a stay of large families and larger groups. Located in São Vicente Ferreira, the house benefits from a micro climate specific to this area, providing more hours of sunshine and better weather conditions throughout the year. In addition, it is 12 min. from the airport and the center of Ponta Delgada and 22 min. of Ribeira Grande, making it a great starting point to discover the whole island. The space Azores Green Woods Villa is a house with large areas and sophisticated architecture that allows the house to have good natural light in all areas of the house, as well as views of the mountain, nature and sea. The house has air conditioning in all bedrooms and a fireplace in the living room. The bedrooms, two of which are located on the top floor: one bedroom with a double bed and a private bathroom (suite), another bedroom with 3 single beds (with bunk beds) and another bedroom with two single beds that can also be be joined together for use by a couple. The house thus has 2 complete bathrooms and a third service bathroom without a shower. In the common areas you will find a large kitchen with new appliances and all the necessary conditions for preparing meals and socializing with family or friends. The living room also offers the possibility of having meals at the table in the room overlooking the garden or watching television while enjoying the comfort of the fireplace in the room if you visit us in the winter season. If you need to dedicate a few hours to work during your holidays, we have a dedicated space with a desk for this purpose. You can also enjoy the huge garden of the house for outdoor living, preparing meals on our barbecue, playing basketball or even picking fruit from our various fruit trees and exploring the extensive forest area in our backyard. You will also find a laundry area with washing machine and dryer that will certainly be useful if you have a longer stay or if you are a lover of walks in nature and end up getting your clothes more dirty. You can count on a team of attentive and available hosts who will welcome you personally during check-in and who will do their best to provide you with the best possible experience. Other things to note Please note: Check-ins between 8:30 p.m. and 10:30 p.m. incur a 20€ fee. Check-ins after 10:30 p.m. incur a 30€ fee. The same 30€ fee applies to check-ins before 8:00 AM. We would like to inform you that, as of January 1, 2025, a new law has come into effect in the Azores, which requires the charge of a tourist tax of €2 per night, per guest, for the first 3 nights of their stay. This charge will be applied to all guests, unless they meet one of the exemption criteria set out in the legislation. Exemptions: The following categories are exempt from the tourist tax: a) Guests under the age of 13; b) Guests whose stay is motivated by the need to receive medical services, for the duration of the necessary treatment plus one additional night, with this exemption extending to one person accompanying the patient (even if the companion does not stay overnight at the establishment due to health reasons); c) Guests with a physical disability of 60% or greater; d) Residents of the Azores. Required Documentation for Exemption: To qualify for an exemption, the following documentation will be required at the time of payment: a) For guests under the age of 13: Citizen card or passport; b) For guests receiving medical services: A copy of the medical appointment or service document, with the date clearly indicated; c) For guests with a disability of 60% or greater: A document proving the disability; d) For residents of the Azores: An identification document showing the place of residence (such as a citizen card, identity card, residency certificate, or proof of address).
