Cozy Cottage on the Chetek Chain of Lakes.

The Ager cottage is located on an island in the Chetek Chain of Lakes. 1 bedroom with queen bed, kitchen, futon, garage, dock. Causeway to the island. Nearby beach, airport, dog park, 2 miles to downtown Chetek. Boating, fishing, hiking, skiing, snowmobiling. Secluded cabin, sleeps 4 guests, but you have to like each other a lot. Wildlife viewing. Bald eagles, deer, otters, heron, wood ducks, muskrat, rabbits, turtles, frogs. Three kayaks, a Grumman canoe and two bicycles are available. The space This one-bedroom split-level cottage on the bayou was built in 1951 and was my late dad's man cave for the past 30 years. We've updated the kitchen and bathroom and furnished it in the kind of cozy, comfortable hodgepodge you often see in summer cottages on this chain of lakes. We hope you find it as peaceful and fun there as my family has! NEW: Washer/dryer in the cottage! NEW: Ring doorbell at entrance for security and communication. Guest access The house, garage, driveway, fire pit, grill, yard, and the L-shaped dock directly in front of the cottage are yours to use. We do keep two rooms of the garage padlocked. Other things to note We are pet friendly, but with rules. 1. Dogs must be kept on leash outside the cottage or kennel. That's township law, and it's enforced. 2. Pets may not be left unattended inside the cabin. You may leave Fido in a crate (you provide), or in the covered outdoor 4x8 foot kennel (we provide - see photos). If you bring a boat, there are two boat landings close by. Boats can be tied up at the dock by the cabin. The dock isn't covered, so you'll need to make sure rainwater won't sink it!
