We welcome guests who respect our property, quiet hours, and our house rules. When inquiring, please let me know a little bit about your group. Things to consider before booking: 1) Parties or large gatherings are not allowed. Violation of this rule will result in cancellation of your reservation with no refund. 2) Visitors who are not registered as guests are welcome during the day, but they cannot stay overnight without our prior approval. Please inform us in advance if you plan to have any visitors during your stay. We charge an extra fee of $20 per person, per night for any additional guests beyond six people. Please be aware that we have Ring cameras at both entrances for your safety and ours. We can see if additional guests arrive. 3) We want you to enjoy yourself at our home, but please be mindful of the noise levels at all times. Please keep the volume of music, TV, conversations, etc., at a reasonable level during the day and lower it after 10 p.m. until 8 a.m. 4) We love pets, but unfortunately, we cannot accommodate them at our property. We are especially allergic to cats. Please do not bring any pets or animals to our home (service animals excluded) without our prior approval. If we find any evidence of pets or animals at our property, we will charge you an extra cleaning fee of $200. Guests have access to the entire home except for the garage, basement crawl space, and a few bedroom closets. These will be locked for storage. A Ring security camera in the front and back of the house are for your security. As per Airbnb’s policy, there are no cameras inside the home. We will be available by phone to answer any questions you may have during your stay. Ready to see some sights? The house is conveniently located near some of Huntington and Long Island’s most popular attractions and beaches. We’re also minutes away from the Huntington Train Station and a 1-hour train ride away from NYC, home of the Radio City Rockettes, Madison Square Garden, Metropolitan Museum of Art, and so much more. Downtown Huntington: 1.8 miles The Paramount: 1.8 miles Heckscher Museum of Art and Park: 1.8 miles Cold Spring Harbor Laboratory: 4.2 miles Vanderbilt Museum and Planetarium: 5.1 miles Cold Spring Harbor Fish Hatchery and Aquarium: 5.1 miles West Neck Beach: 6.4 miles* Tanger Arches Outlets: 8.3 miles Sagamore Hill National Historic Site: 9.7 miles Planting Fields Arboretum: 11.1 miles *Inside the shed, you’ll find beach umbrellas and beach chairs for your convenience. A market and pharmacy are minutes away. Please use the private driveway or park in front of the picket fence. Since it's a residential street, we like to leave street parking outside of the neighbors' homes free for their own cars and guests. We are the doting parents of a very spoiled senior dog. And while the house is thoroughly cleaned before check-in, no amount of cleaning can guarantee a completely dander-free home. We know this from personal experience — cat allergies! If you are allergic to dogs, we want you to know this before booking. .
