Urban oasis cottage in the city

Take it easy at our tranquil getaway. Quaint English cottage charm near highway 44 for central access to local landmarks and restaurants and shopping. Quiet safe neighborhood. Bike or walk to Ted Drew’s. Park at nearby Shrewsbury metro to take downtown to Busch Stadium or the Gateway Arch. Minutes from Forest Park attractions museums and World class Muny Theatre. Schnucks, Target, Walmart, STL Bread Co and many local cuisine nearby. Host on site. Self check in. Security monitored front door. The space Loveseat pulls out for twin size extra bed. Will have coffee/K-cups available and light breakfast snacks. Fully stocked kitchen to prepare meals. Places to store food in pantry or frigid. Please scrape dishes and rinse before loading dishwasher due to small drain clogs and older unit not equipped to dissolve food particles. General toiletries on site also. Plenty of towels in cupboard. There will also be a small first aid kit of general supplies available. Laundry upstairs off bedroom. Dryer is older unit so will need to run a few cycles till we can replace it. Walk in closet with tons of room to hang/store belongings as well as a small dresser. Two twin adjustable beds makes for a Cali king size sleeping area. Beds can be made into two separate beds with alternate bedding. I use two queen coverlets tucked between the beds. With enough notice I can hit it prepared in advance. Lovely tiny home cottage. WiFi with Roku on both TVs. Lots of channels to choose with your own passwords if you have access/accounts to those channels. Plenty of free channel choices too. Propane grill for cook outs. Fire pit available for use too. Please notify us you want to use the fire pit and we can have it set up and ready. There’s a porch in front of cottage for enjoying the nice weather days or morning coffee. Guest access Guests will have full access to the whole cottage. The garage is off limits. More of a tool shed so no need to be in there. Feel free to use the front porch on the cottage and back end of the driveway way for grilling or using the fire pit and chairs. The vegetable gardens in our backyard aren’t for guests. I will have plenty of flowers to keep the scenery beautiful. Plenty of on street parking is available. Guests will not have access to park their vehicles in the driveway. Entry will be a coded door lock with codes changed after each guest and code provided upon check in on your first day. Checkout will be 11 am on your last scheduled day. Codes will be changed promptly after checkout. Over stays will be charged extra on their account. I will no longer accept instant cancellations because you don’t like how the site looks or the fragrance of room deodorizers I choose. Simply unplug the room deodorizer unit in the kitchen. I’ve listed every detail pertaining to the property. Fair warning… it’s a “tiny” home and built in 1911. It was once used at servants quarters and a summer kitchen. It’s a standard in-law suite. My cancelation policy is listed. No refunds under 30 days notice. Other things to note We will not allow parties of any kind during your stay. Gatherings are ok but guests not registered will be asked to leave after 11 pm. No one will be permitted to stay who isn’t registered from the site. Any illegal activities will be met with local authority intervention if needed. No drugs or illegal substances will be permitted. No guns on premises either. This is a safe quiet neighborhood and we intend to keep it as such. No smoking inside the cottage including 420 or e-cigs or vapes of any kind. There will be a place outside to discard cigarette butts. Treat our place with respect like you would your own home and we will get along famously. On occasion I may have seasonal fragrance candles. Please use care and do not leave unattended or lit when not on premises. For stays longer than two weeks we would like a moment to come in and do some general cleaning. My cancelation policy is firm 30 days notice. I will no longer offer refunds for instant disapproval. Fair notice this is a “tiny” home. It’s a literal cottage. It was built in 1911 and its old and small in-law suite converted from servants quarters and a summer kitchen. I use room deodorizers. If you disapprove of the fragrance, simply unplug it. I will not refund because you don’t like the fragrance I chose.
