Guest access A parking permit will be issued at check-in and must be displayed on the rearview mirror at all times while on the property. • Parking is reserved for registered guests only. Visitors must park off-site. • Boats, trailers, and RVs cannot be accommodated on-site and must be parked elsewhere. • The property is marked by a ground-mounted wooden sign labeled “Poseidon.” Driveways are identified with red and green navigational beacons—turn in at the red light next to the illuminated Poseidon sign. • A striped, regulation Pickleball court is available in the parking lot. • Parking spots are clearly marked with yellow stripes; vehicles should park diagonally at a 45-degree angle. • Conveniently located near the I-64 interchange: o 1 hour to Colonial Williamsburg and Busch Gardens o 30 minutes to Virginia Beach Resort o 15 minutes to Norfolk International Airport, Downtown Norfolk, EVMS, and NSU o Less than 10 minutes to Norfolk Naval Base, ODU, Hampton University, Veterans Hospital, and Little Creek Amphibious Base • Public transportation is limited—car recommended. Other things to note Poseidon is a well kept and well-loved bay front property. It is a quiet place for guests that enjoy a quiet beachfront to fish, kayak, crab, sail, suntan, wind-surf, swim or beachcombing. The property is not suitable for parties, inappropriate behavior of any kind or unauthorized guests. Parking is decal controlled and we can only accommodate parking for our registered guests. We do not rent to guests under 25 or guests that do not have a 5-star review from a prior Airbnb host. Smoking of any kind is prohibited inside of the property but we have cigarette buckets along the exterior as smoking is permitted outdoors. Maximum setting for Air Conditioning is 72-degrees. Maximum heat setting is 76 degrees We also have free kayaks too but a Waiver of Liability form will need to be initialed and executed by all adults that will be using the kayaks (minors are not to use kayaks). If you would like to use this equipment please message me with your email address and names of all adults that will be using it. I will send the agreement to you by Docusign. Once you sign and initial in all of the spaces provided and the completed form is sent to me I will then provide you with the lock code to unlock the kayak and provide a paddle to use We have a striped regulation Pickle Ball court in the parking lot.
