Like a hotel room in my condo with shared pool and free bikes. King size bed, private bathroom, terrace with table and umbrella, 50-inch 4K TV and 4K Apple TV, small fridge, microwave, coffee maker. Very fast internet. Desk. Access to shared kitchen and dining room. Washing machine. 10 min walk to 5th Ave. 15 min to the beach. 2 min to grocery stores. Secure residence with gate, walls and cameras. Ground floor. Private room but shared condo. I smoke. The space Please read all sections carefully before renting. Greetings to all guests! Tap water is supposed to be drinkable, but I don't recommend drinking it or using it to brush your teeth. That's why I provide free bottled water for drinking and cooking. The apartment is equipped with a Wi-Fi 6 router and a Wi-Fi 6 repeater in the bedroom, with a fast 900 Mb/s internet connection. In your room you will find a space dedicated to work or study, with a desk and an office chair. A printer is also available to guests. Are you coming from Europe or Asia? Don't worry about the time difference, you can work whenever you want, that's fine with me. Two bikes are available to you free of charge. However, you are responsible for it. In the event of breakage or theft, you will have to pay for them. This is the case for any bike rental, but mine are free. Please follow my recommendations: avoid using them late at night. Always use both locks, each on the frame and one wheel on a solid pole. Leave the bike inside the condo when you are not using it. Don't leave it unattended all day if you go on a trip. I also provide bath towels, beach towels, hair dryer, toilet paper, shampoo, soap and a steam iron. All this is included in the rental. The 50-inch 4K Dolby Vision TV with Apple TV 4K in your room gives you access to Netflix and Prime Video. Just use the guest account of these apps. Don't install any paid apps or rent any paid content, or you'll be charged extra. I have a private parking space (D-05) that I do not use. It is therefore at your disposal free of charge if you own or rent a car, motorcycle or scooter. You can use the washing machine and clotheslines on the terrace. I provide the detergent for free. I have many small appliances to cook anything you can imagine. Bread machine, ice cream maker, waffle maker, sandwich maker, slow cooker, food processor, electric fondue machine, vacuum cooker with packer and many more appliances. You can use them all, but treat them with care as if they were your own. Don't hesitate to ask me for help if needed. Please keep the kitchen clean. Guest access Please note that I only rent one bedroom with a king-size bed. Ideal for a single person or couple. If you are accompanied, this person must also be an Airbnb member and you must specify this when requesting to rent. Only registered guests have access to the bungalow, pool, apartment, and your room. I do not discriminate on the basis of sexual orientation, gender, religion, ethnicity, age or any other criteria. All respectful people are welcome. My private bedroom and bathroom adjoining the common areas are not included in the rental. Please use only the bathroom in your room. So, whether I'm present or not, you won't have access to it. That's why there are no photos: they are simply not part of the rental. Enjoy the rest! During your stay I'm both a host and a guest, so you can check out the reviews about me. I speak French, English and a little Spanish. I will use a translator for the other languages. I have lived here part of the year for 4 years and I know the city, its surroundings, activities and possible excursions well. Don't hesitate to ask me for help or advice. I'll be there to welcome you and hand you the keys. If I'm traveling and away during your stay, my Airbnb assistant will be there to assist you. I want to assure you that even in my absence, you will always be able to reach me if you have any questions or need any help. There is no doorbell outside the building. Please send me a message when you arrive. If you can't, for example because your phone is dead, you can just call my name out loud and I'll come and open the gate, welcome you and give you the keys. If you need to arrive earlier or if your departure is scheduled in the evening and you want to leave later, please let me know and I will do my best to help you. If guests are already registered, you can leave your luggage here and enjoy Playa del Carmen while you wait. I can book a taxi to pick you up here and bring you back to the airport at a good price, but not for the return. It's very easy to find one at Cancún Airport to come here. There are also shared shuttles. Personally, I always use Ado Bus to travel between their Playa del Carmen terminal and the airport terminal. This is the most convenient and cheapest option. For Tulum or Cozumel airports, it's a little different. I will give you more information if you wish. Other things to note I'm a smoker. So you can smoke here, but not in your room or around the pool. Only in the common areas of my apartment and on the back terrace. The ventilation is excellent, so there is no smell or nuisance. If you are a non-smoker and wish to do so, I will refrain from smoking in your presence in the common areas. However, if you really can't stand smoke, please don't rent this apartment. Electricity is very expensive here, so please use air conditioning in moderation. Do not use it when your bay window or door is open, or when you are away. Please also turn off the lights when leaving your room. The ceiling fan should always be working, and with the windows open, air conditioning is rarely needed. An extra fan is also available for free for your room if needed. Parties and illegal drugs are forbidden. It's your vacation, so you can of course drink alcohol in moderation and have fun, but please respect my neighbors. The residence gate must remain locked at all times. The bay window grille in your room must be locked every time you leave the apartment, and all other doors must also be locked in my absence. Outdoor cameras are installed at each entrance to the apartment. On the other hand, no cameras are installed inside when I receive guests. Finally, one last point: my apartment is clean, but it is not new. If you are looking for a 5-star hotel, it would be better to go to a 5-star hotel. For example, the presence of limestone in the water has left white marks on the sink and shower walls, and they are impossible to remove, even by scrubbing vigorously. Some places, such as near the washing machine, require a coat of paint. In the kitchen, some drawer and cupboard doors are slightly deformed by splashes of water. Over time, use and humidity, the exterior of some appliances, such as the bedroom refrigerator and the kitchen refrigerator, has lost its shine. If these inconveniences bother you, please do not rent this apartment. I'm always open to suggestions for improvement. I do my best to make it comfortable for me and my guests. It may not be perfect, but the photos are accurate and overall I really think it's a great place. With everything I offer and included in the rental price, I also think it's a very good deal.
