Come stay at the Saguaro Casita at Cat Mountain! Located feet from Tucson Mountain Park and Cat Mountain Station, this location is perfect for nature lovers and style hunters alike. The building was built around a John Wayne museum in the 1950's, but converted into three 1,200 sq. ft casitas in 2023. The colorful décor in the space is locally sourced, creating a vintage ranch vibe surrounded by saguaros. It is perfect for travelers looking to relax in the Sonoran Desert. The space The Casitas are located in Cat Mountain Station. This area hosts an observatory and 2 separate hotels. Guided Star Tours are available to reserve through Cat Mountain Lodge, and guests receive a 20% discount. The grounds are full of Sonoran native plants, expertly cultivated by landscape architect Doug Larson. There are walking trails to a labyrinth, as well as our resident desert tortoise, Juanita Wayne. The Saguaro Casita is a one bedroom, one bath with an office. The bedroom has a queen bed, the office has a full sized fold out sofa. It has a full kitchen and and boasts an impressive walk-in shower. Guest access Guests have access to the entire space.
