Instant relaxation and nature for a green setting in the countryside of Haut-Anjou. The space In the heart of a small hamlet, come and enjoy an unusual night in a Kota grill, a real Finnish cabin! The terrace, facing east, will offer you a sunny breakfast with views of the surrounding countryside. It is not uncommon to see deer or pheasants depending on the season. The kota is located in the shade of century-old oaks, to benefit from the natural coolness of the trees. Through a small wood, you will see farm animals: Chickens, Ducks, Geese, Sheep, Goats, Cats and Dog. The accommodation is equipped with eco-friendly dry toilets and an outdoor solar shower, allowing you to reconnect with nature while preserving our beautiful planet. If you want to explore the surroundings, we can lend you bikes to reach, for example, the beautiful Mayenne River, located just 15 km away via La Voie Verte. You can enjoy scenic walks along its banks and discover the area's natural beauty. If you want to enjoy a fully on-site experience, a catering option is also available upon request. Breakfast included will be served in the morning with local and/or homemade products whenever possible. The kota is located 10 minutes from Segré, 10 minutes from Château-Gontier-sur-Mayenne, 35 minutes from Angers and 40 minutes from Laval. For cycling enthusiasts, we are just 15 km from the towpath, via the Voie Verte, a former railway line converted into a cycle path. This towpath is part of the Vélo Francette® which connects Ouistreham to La Rochelle. Other things to note We suggest you try our Nordic bath! This is a hot tub connected to a wood-burning stove. It takes 4 hours to heat the bath water. Depending on your arrival time and our availability, we can turn on the bath so that it is at the right temperature. The price is €30 on the first day, €10 on the following days and will be paid on site. For dinner, you have the option of using the indoor grill or the outdoor barbecue (Charcoal not included) The cleaning of the kota is included. TO BRING: - If you want to use the Nordic bath, remember to bring a bathrobe and a pair of flip-flops. It's always nicer to wrap up in the bathrobe when you come out of the water. - If you want to enjoy the grill or barbecue, bring a bag of charcoal.
