Instant relaxation and nature for a green setting in the countryside of Haut-Anjou. The space In the heart of a small hamlet, come and enjoy a unique night in a Kota grill, a true Finnish cabin! The east-facing terrace will offer you a sunny breakfast with a view of the surrounding countryside. It is not uncommon to see deer or pheasants there, depending on the season. The kota is located in the shade of centuries-old oak trees, so you can enjoy the natural coolness of the trees. Through a small wood, you will see the farm animals: chickens, ducks, geese, sheep, goats, cats, and dogs. The accommodation is equipped with an environmentally friendly composting toilet and an outdoor solar shower, allowing you to reconnect with nature while preserving our beautiful planet. If you want to explore the surrounding area, we can lend you bicycles to reach, for example, the beautiful Mayenne River, located just 15 km away via La Voie Verte. You can enjoy picturesque walks along its banks and discover the natural beauty of the area. The included breakfast will be served to you in the morning with local and/or homemade products whenever possible. The kota is located 10 min from Segré, 10 min from Château Gontier sur Mayenne, 35 min from Angers and 40 min from Laval. For cycling enthusiasts, we are only 15 km from the towpath, via the greenway, a former railway line converted into a bicycle path. This towpath is part of the Vélo Francette®, which connects Ouistreham to La Rochelle. Other things to note We suggest you try our Nordic bath! This is a hot tub connected to a wood-burning stove. It takes 4 hours to heat the bath water. Depending on your arrival time and our availability, we can turn on the bath so that it is at the right temperature. The price is €30 on the first day, €10 on the following days and will be paid on site. For dinner, you have the option of using the indoor grill or the outdoor barbecue (Charcoal not included) The cleaning of the kota is included. TO BRING: - If you want to use the Nordic bath, remember to bring a bathrobe and a pair of flip-flops. It's always nicer to wrap up in the bathrobe when you come out of the water. - If you want to enjoy the grill or barbecue, bring a bag of charcoal.
