A large garden, nature all around and a lot of privacy make the house ideal for relaxing stays in the countryside. The space Our guesthouse is a large, characterful farmhouse in the peaceful countryside of southern Burgundy. This is about living together, nature and an enormous amount of space. The entire house is always rented to only one group – there are no other guests on site. Ideal for families and groups of 8 to 13 people. A large garden surrounds the house and offers plenty of space for spending time outdoors. The saltwater pool invites you to cool off on warm days. A real highlight is the competition-size pétanque court – many groups book for this very reason and spend long evenings and weekends together here. Inside, rustic farmhouse-style rooms with simple, honest furnishings await you. Mosquito nets in the bedrooms ensure quiet summer nights. Linens and towels are provided, and the beds are made. The house consists of two parts under one roof and is rented out completely and exclusively. Important note: Children of all ages count as guests. Maximum occupancy is 13 people. Smaller groups are also welcome. Guest access You can park right next to the house (about 50 m away from the small access road). You can enter the house through various doors, including our large terrace with ramp. Outside on the grounds you have almost 6000 m² of garden to freely unfold. There are tables to place under trees, plus a 500 m mowed path to walk around the natural meadow, an old oak beam to sit and dream. You can use the saltwater pool and the petanque all day long. We owners will withdraw. Other things to note The Meix-Gagnard is conveniently located between the A39 and A6 and is easily accessible, with the SNCF train station also nearby. From here, you can reach many of the most beautiful regions of Burgundy and the western Jura. The area invites you to a variety of activities: Discover vineyards, visit historic castles, go on bike tours or hikes on quiet paths through the countryside. Motorcyclists also appreciate the winding, relatively quiet roads of the region. Back on the estate, peace and quiet await you: a large garden with a pool, shady spots under old trees and plenty of space to relax. The garden, the pétanque court and the pool are available for shared moments. Please treat the house and furnishings with care and use the outdoor areas respectfully. Furniture from the house does not belong outside. The pool is to be used via the outdoor shower to maintain water quality and comfort for all guests. Visitors are generally only possible by prior arrangement. Additional overnight stays or spontaneous guests outside the reservation are not allowed. Children of all ages count toward the total occupancy.
