The space The greatest feature of this space is the LARGE and fully equipped kitchen inspired by Cedric's French culture and Italian roots! Enjoy eating a homemade meal around the island or under the string of lights on the back patio with garden and jungle views. Relax in the cozy living room on the L-shaped couch and with the new Smart TV connected to highspeed Wifi (500Mb) and more than 200 TV channels. Next to the living room is the guest bathroom which features the original and funky surfboard entrance to the hot water shower. Sleep comfortably and stay cool in each bedroom that offers queen-size mattresses, new A/C units and ceiling fans. The primary bedroom includes a workspace with an office desk and an Indonesian inspired ensuite bathroom. Sip your morning coffee or tea on the back patio complete with couches, fans, and an alfresco dining table for 6. On the front patio you'll find a rock garden view and laundry room with washer and dryer for your convenience. Although the house is centrally located in town, the garden provides a feeling of disconnect from the local street life. There's nothing minimalist about this home. Santa Catalina is in a remote place far from the stores of a city, so we hope you will enjoy all the conveniences provided. Guest access You will have full access to the entire home. Including the laundry room. (Washer/Dryer) Other things to note There are frequent power outages in Santa Catalina. There is a Backup Battery System which allows 6-8 hours of power. The batteries will run the Wifi, charge devices, the standing fan, some lights and keep the main refrigerator running. The AC units will not work on the battery. You will find a manual in the house to explain how to turn it on. If you book a long stay or have specific dietary needs, we would recommend grocery shopping in Santiago before arriving to Santa Catalina.
