Hideaway Cottage - explore beautiful South Wales

Newly refurbished in the perfect location to explore South Wales. We are a dog friendly cottage with a fully fenced (6ft+) secure garden. With the Loughor Estuary and the Wales Coastal Path within walking distance. Situated close to the Gower, with a number of beautiful beaches and coastal walks. An hour's drive to the Brecon Beacons National Park with its amazing hills, forests and waterfalls. About an hour and a half drive leads to both Tenby and the Pembrokeshire Coast National Park. The space Hideaway Cottage is located on a residential street, but tucked away, detached from the surrounding houses and set back from the road, resulting in a peaceful and relaxing cosy cottage & garden. The cottage has a very fitting name, as it really is hidden away! Both the cottage and garden have been recently renovated to create a comfortable and relaxing environment with a contemporary interior, whilst maintaining the rustic charm of a cottage. The cottage is fully heated with gas central heating. Free WiFi is included. In the lounge, we have a comfortable, three-seater sofa which also pulls out to a double bed. We include a sheet, pillows and duvets if guests would like to use the sofa bed. There is also a pull-out dining table and 4 chairs. The lounge also features a flat-screen television with Freeview. The kitchen is fully equipped, with a fridge-freezer, microwave, kettle & toaster. We also include a wide array of cooking accessories, utensils, and full set of tableware. The bathroom includes a bath and waterfall shower, sink, bathroom cabinet, toilet and heated towel rail. The bedroom has a comfortable double bed complete with duvet, bedspread and four pillows. There is a wardrobe and chest of drawers for with ample space for clothes storage, and two bedside cabinets with lamps. The cottage features a spacious outside area, with two patio areas and a large lawn which features a beautiful apple tree and ferns. Fully fenced both front and rear, this is a private and secure garden with no shared access. One of the patio areas has an outdoor dining area with table & chairs, and the smaller patio has a pair of relaxing rocking chairs and side table - perfect to relax & unwind. Guest access You have full, sole access to the cottage and garden, except for the shed which is used for storage. Other things to note We recommend this cottage for 2 guests, however we have a comfortable double sofa bed in the lounge which can sleep 2 extra guests. We don't charge extra for more guests. We love dogs! Due to the size of the cottage, we typically allow up to three small dogs or two large. If you would like your dogs to be able to sleep on the bed, please let us know, as you will be required to bring your own bed linen for this, and we will leave the bed stripped ready. Older children over 12 are welcome to stay, but please let us know when booking, and we can advise on the suitability due to there only being one bedroom.
