Come stay at the Cosmic Cabin, atop of Palomar Mountain, sitting above the clouds at 5,660ft elevation. Enjoy incredible views both day & night, with visibility of 50+ miles of San Diego Coastline on a clear day and countless Constellations and the Milky Way on a clear night. Birdwatch, cozy up on a rocking chair next to the fireplace or play some games :) Our cabin is perfectly nestled beneath ancient Oaks, Cedars and Pines, providing shade, privacy and endless nature around you to enjoy. The space Vibe ~ Western Cowboy, Cozy Log Cabin Outdoor Spaces ~ Private Front Porch with sunset views!! Propane grill on front porch. Private Back Porch beneath the cedars, amazing birdwatching spot :) Back porch overlooks the fire pit, yours to use, safely, during your stay. Inside ~ Open living room with access to front and back porches, reclining leather sofa, propane fireplace, rocking chairs, equipped kitchen, small dining table. Private bathroom with standing shower, supplied with necessities. Cozy queen bed, made with freshly cleaned linens and covers. Enjoy privacy in this forest-facing queen bedroom, a mounted TV, and a dresser for storage. Unwind in comfort with nature's view just beyond the window, creating a serene ambiance for your stay. Entertainment ~ Nature! or.. Mortal Kombat II Arcade Game, mounted TV, Tiki Toss, other games, cards, DVDs and more! Guest access You will have access to our 1.2 acres of forest. We will send you a map, upon check in, to give you an idea of our property line. There are some solar lights along pathways, and stakes/small white flags around most of the perimeter near our neighbors. We also have lots of privacy on our front and back porches! Other things to note Please be cognizant of predators, we are in a coniferous forest! Although you are more likely to see countless birds and deer, just be aware that mountain lions, bob cats, coyotes, etc. also call this mountain home. So just be aware w your pup! We have small blow horns, to bring on walks just in case!
