Nestled in between 2 of Charlotte’s most popular neighborhoods, Plaza Midwood and NoDa in a renovated church from 1929, this is the most unique stay in CLT and fit for a Queen. You'll love the short walk to the Light Rail and Optimist Hall. Enjoy Cordelia Park just behind us connected to a nature path. Including an excellent coffee shop and restaurant 5 minute walk away. Accessibility note: This place is on the 2nd floor with no elevator. It is 3 short staircases up directly from side street. The space This a sustainable home with extra care invested in high quality, natural and organic cleaning and beauty products, plastic-free alternatives, ethically certified linens, globally sourced artisan decor, renovated antiques and more. The space boasts lots of natural light, beautiful decor and creative loft vibe. Your room features a private desk and sitting area, walk-in closet, full length mirror, memory foam mattress, and private bathroom. Please note: This is an apartment building on a Main Street so while it is a very quiet you may occasionally hear some sounds. Additional reminder: I have a small dog who’s very friendly and will greet you at the front door wanting a belly rub. Guest access Your private space in the front bedroom and guest bathroom located in the hall next to your room. You also have access to the common areas including entryway with laundry, dining nook, fully stocked kitchen, and living room. Since this is my home, this space is also very well stocked with cleaning equipment, tools, extra linens, kitchen equipment and even a retail steamer. If you need anything just ask, I might have it. During your stay I work from home and will often be around to help with any questions or assistance you need and quick to communicate digitally as well. I'm a Charlotte native and can offer many great recommendations for food and activities if needed. Other things to note There is free parking in the building parking lot and street parking. Video surveillance is running in parking lot, both entrances, and interior halls/stairs. Front lobby has a Nespresso machine if you'd like to walk over and make a cup. Directly behind our neighborhood is Cordelia Park with stunning views of Uptown Charlotte and connection to the Little Sugar Creek Greenway including a public pool ($2/pp) and free Basketball and Tennis Courts.
