This charming one bedroom carriage home is newly built and can accommodate short or longer term stays. The carriage home is situated behind the main house and has a private entrance. The home is located in a quiet residential neighbourhood and close to all major amenities and bus routes; 10 minutes away from downtown Victoria. The suite has A/C and guests have access to an EV charger. The space Victoria is the host to the famous The Fairmont Empress hotel, Legislature Building, Chinatown, and a charming Old Town district. Downtown is centred on the lively Inner Harbour, crisscrossed by water taxis, seaplanes, and whale watching boats. At Fisherman's Wharf and Park, visitors can explore marine life along the quaint floating pier with food kiosks and shops.  Uber and taxis are available to assist with transportation if you are visiting without a vehicle. The City of Victoria is a bike friendly city and provides the option for people to cycle comfortably around the city. This charming one bedroom carriage home is newly built, has modern finishings, and an open concept layout that is similar to a micro-condo. The heat pump offers A/C in the summer and keeps the suite warm and cozy in the winter. The carriage home is located behind the main house and has a private entrance. The bedroom has a luxury brand queen bed (Stearns and Foster) and ample closet space to accommodate longer term stays. The kitchen is equipped to prepare basic meals and guests can enjoy the complimentary tea and coffee. No dishwasher. There is a built in folding table in the kitchen that can be used as an eating area or a designated work space. There is a tub/shower combo in the bathroom and guests are welcome to use the complimentary shampoo/conditioner/body wash. Guests are welcome to use the BBQ (upon request) and enjoy the patio area; there is an umbrella to offer shade on extra sunny days. The outdoor faucet and hose can be used to clean off beach gear. There is a washer/dryer and complimentary laundry detergent for guests to use during their stay. EV Charger available: The FLO charger is compatible with every brand of EV sold in North America. Guest access The carriage home is located behind the main house. The carriage home has a private entrance. Guests will use a keyless entry system for self check-in and check-out. Guests will receive a custom door code the day of arrival. There is designated parking for 2 vehicles on the gravel patch in front of the house. No parking in the driveway in front of the house. Other things to note The suite comfortably accommodates 2 guests. The heat pump offers A/C and heat. Infants are welcome with parents, no baby equipment supplied. This is not a pet friendly suite. The home owners live in the main house on the property. The green space in the back yard is not available for guests to use, but there is a private patio area for guests. There are security cameras on the property, they do not cover the private private area or point into the suite.
