Chickadees Cottage and Pottery

Chickadee Cottage is Centrally located in Westin North Carolina. Close to many major attractions in the Asheville area. Including the Asheville airport, SierraNevada, wnc arboretum, access to the blue ridge parkway, Pisgah forest, the Biltmore, Hendersonville and Asheville. Yet you will feel far from it all. The cottage is set back in the landscape with fields, forest and a small creek on the property. You can watch the birds and if you’re lucky you will spot wildlife visiting the property. The space The cottage is decorated to feel cozy and romantic and yet it is kid and pet friendly. Throughout the space you will find art and pottery made by artists nearby. In fact, your closest neighbor is our family owned pottery/art studio. Guests are welcome to stop in anytime to watch a free demonstration from the potters and clay artists as they create their art. We also invite guests to book a family/friend “clay date” where you get to learn about pottery and create something for your home. Special date nights are also an option. Please contact me to see if this can happen during your stay. We strive to create a home away from home and an unforgettable experience for our guests. Guest access Whole house Other things to note We do ask that you disclose your fury friend(s) and pay the extra pet rent of $50 per pet. This fee covers your pet for the whole stay and is NOT per night. We are listed for 5 guests but we can only comfortably sleep 4 adults. The max allowance of 5 is meant for families with younger children. We have a pack n play and can add a child’s mattress to accommodate families of 5. All bookings and guests, including instant bookings, are required to follow house rules and comply with short term rental agreement. After booking you will receive an automatic message that will contain the rental agreement.
