River Oak Cottage: Peaceful Stay

Nestled amidst wine farms on a tranquil river and with stunning mountain views, this Franschhoek cottage offers the perfect blend of seclusion and convenience in Franschhoek. The cottage is ideal for those who want to be immersed in nature but within walking distance of the wine tram and all the finest restaurants, art and coffee shops. You will also benefit from our alternative power supply, ensuring the lights stay on during loadshedding. The space This space is perfect for nature lovers and adventurers. For someone who wants to experience the natural beauty of Franschhoek while being a close walk to town. The Wine Tram station is just a 900m walk from the cottage. Our cottage is homely and comfortable and comes with 100% cotton bedding, towels, crockery, fridge, microwave, gas oven & stove, kettle and toaster. The cottage has a big garden where guests can picnic on the river, enjoy our outdoor seating area and barbecue. It also has a 2 seater hot tub overlooking the river. The Cottage has 2 bedrooms, 2 bathrooms, a full kitchen with a dining area, a lounge and an upstairs loft. River Oak Cottage is attached to another cottage but is completely private. The outdoor area is also private (separated from the other cottage with a wall and wooden fence for complete seclusion). Enjoy being immersed in nature and mountains yet within close walking distance to all the top restaurants and shops in Franschhoek. The more adventurous can have a swim in the river a few steps from the cottage. Guest access Guests will have private access to the Franschhoek river as well as access to our small lake on the property. Other things to note The winetram station is a 900m walk from the cottage and the central town of Franschhoek is about a 10-minute walk away. We have alternative power for our lights, so they will stay on during loadshedding.
