Lakeside Villa - nature & activities

Enjoy finnish nature at it's best. Spacious lakehouse in beautiful scenery at lake Päijänne - full of activities and finnish sauna. This well equipped villa is perfect for all nature, sports and food enthusiasts, and fits also bigger families and other groups. Quests can use paddleboards, kayaks, rowing boat (has also outboard motor), fishing rods, outdoor gym, and different outdoor games. Lively small town Vääksy, and its restaurants and golf course, is just 15 min drive away. The space Main building: - Spacious livingroom + kitchen - 2 Bedrooms with double beds - Library/quest bedroom with sofa bed - Main bathroom with toilet and shower - Toilet Courtyard building: - 2 bedrooms with double beds - Sofa and air mattresses can be used as beds if needed Red summer cottage: - single beds x2 Sauna: - dressing room - Shower room - Terrace with wood heated tub - Traditional Finnish sauna Outdoors: - Multiple patios - grassfield - Outdoor gym - greenhouse with herbs free to use Guest access Quests have whole place for themselves. Other things to note Villa has beds for 10 people (doublebed, sofabed or single beds). Air mattress and a sofa in the guesthouse bring 2 additional places, and in the summertime guestcabin accommodate another 2 people. There are therefore places for 14 people during the summer (Junr-August). Other times for 12 people Wifi, towels, bed linen, soaps, laundry detergent, filter coffee and basic spices are included in the rental price. You will need your own car to get to the Villa, because of the remote location. Place has excellent swimming opportunities, and you can even jump from the dock. Our guests also have the opportunity to freely use SUP boards and a three-person rowing boat with life jackets. There are also fishing rods to use. The grass field in the yard also allows for versatile yard games, and guests can use e.g. pétanque, croquet, darts and mölkky. In winter, when the lake freezes over, you can walk on the lake's ice, go ice-skating, ski and skate. There is space for 5 cars in the yard, and there are additional spaces near by (50m). The nearest electric car fast charging point can be found in Vääksy. Driving distance to the center of Vääksy approx. 20 minutes, Lahti approx. 40 minutes and Helsinki Vantaa airport 1 hour 40 minutes.
