Shaded by 200 year old oaks, the Keller House was built in the 1869 during the building of the railroad and the founding of the town. It was a Post Office, a bar, and a boarding house for female school teachers. The apartment has a private entrance with a screened porch and fenced yard. It's a short drive to beaches, fishing, USA campus & Mississippi Casinos. 20 min to Chevron Refinery, Airbus, Ingalls, Walmart & Amazon Warehouses. Only 2 hrs to New Orleans French Quarter. 40 min to Casinos. There is one large room with a double bed and a love seat, a computer work space, WiFi, Roku TV and a large closet. A recliner chair in another area converts into a small cot sized bed. All rooms have high ceilings and newly refreshed interior paint and flooring. Room darkening window coverings add extra privacy. The fully equipped kitchen has an oven/range, refrigerator and dining area. You'll have a private bathroom with a tub and shower, a private entrance with a screened porch and a fenced rear yard with tables, chairs and a fire pit. Parking is on site. Entrance to the apartment is at the back of the house. Parking is on the side of the home or near the rear gate. Seafood restaurant next door shares parking lot during week days. (Great home style cooking -take out service) I live locally and I am available to help whenever you need something or just want information. Please don't hesitate to contact me. Center of Grand Bay. Near Post Office, Library and shopping areas. Easy walk to stores, restaurants and drug stores. Parking available on site. No public transportation. Front of the building is used as office space. The 2nd level has an apartment Smoking is allowed outside. We fully clean and sanitize all surfaces and take extra care with washing linens, towels and blankets and sanitizing pillows and comforters.
