Hygge is the Danish word describing a mood of cosiness and contentment and the Hygge Hut is a cosy, conveniently located base from which to explore North Norfolk, arguably one of the most beautiful areas in the country. It has much to offer such as beaches, Felbrigg Hall, Blickling Hall, Steam railway, Broads boating, city of Norwich to name a few. If your stay is about just unwinding then Hygge Hut’s home touches; shower, WC, oven, hob, fridge, BBQ and Chimenea will ensure a relaxing break. The space Enter via the gate into the private shingled and grassed area nestled in the front corner of our garden. There you will find the gas BBQ, chimenea, outdoor seating and of course the Hygge Hut. Up the wooden steps takes you through the double doors and inside the hut, to your right you will find the very comfortable antique iron and brass bed with blankets and crisp linen. immediately in front is the kitchenette with sink, hob, oven/grill, fridge, heater and kettle along with pots, pans, crockery, cutlery and glasses. There are chairs and a small dining table which can be folded away. To the left you will find the WC and shower room which offers a toilet, basin and rainfall shower with handheld shower attachment. In the spirit of transparency, the hut is not located in the depths of the countryside with no civilisation for miles, there is a road running past into the local village and subsequently some traffic noise. Guest access Parking is on a shared drive and access to the Hygge Hut is through your own private gate and you are the only people who will be using the private space in front of the Hygge Hut. Other things to note We are close by but will respect your privacy, unless of course you make contact in which case we will be only too happy to help you ensure you make the most of your stay in beautiful North Norfolk. We can discuss with you places to visit, places to eat and drink, places to walk, local history and anything else that you might wonder about. Also, if there is something you need in the hut that we haven't thought of then please do let us know and we will do our very best to accommodate you.
