Your family will be close to everything when you stay at this centrally-located cottage. The Railwayman's is a characterful cottage in the Historic Picturesque Village of Haworth. Well behaved, trained dogs will be considered, message us. Ideal for couples or families wishing to visit, Haworth and the Bronte connections. The Stream railway station is on the same road as the cottage. The shops, cafes, restaurants and bars are all within walking distance. 1 night stays available on request The space The Railway man's cottage is on the main road close to the steam train station in the charming village of Haworth. The Stove style fire place ensures cosy evenings are guaranteed. Set in the heart of the Bronte country, an ideal retreat to explore the village. The pretty village, home to the world famous Bronte Sisters, with a conned main high street with many independentshops, cafes, bars and restaurants and The Bronte Parsonage Museum. Haworth has a vast array of annual events such as the 1940's and 1960's weekends, Steam Punk weekend, Christmas Torchlight and Christmas Markets. There are many public footpaths with fabulous walks to explore the breath taking views. The Bronte Way takes you across the Bronte Waterfall Bridge and up the hill to Top Withens, the setting for 'Wuthering Heights ' with spectacular views across the moors. Many movies and TV productions have been filmed in the area such as To Walk Invisible, The Railway Children, Gentleman Jack and many more. Hebden Bridge is a 20 minute drive from the cottage, home to the National Trust’s Hardcastle Crags, definitely worth a visit to the weekend market with local produce and many cafes, shops and pubs. The market town of Skipton known as the 'gateway to the Yorkshire dales', can be reached in 30 minutes. Other Towns such as Ilkley, Harrogate and Otley and the major City of Leeds are all within easy reach. The Railwayman's has Wi-Fi, a smart TV which enables guests to connect to Netflix and other streaming services, games and books to be enjoyed. The main bedroom has a king size bed with Hypnos mattress. The second bedroom is on the 3rd floor (Attick) and has 2 single beds. The Kitchen has a cooker, fridge freezer, sink, kettle and toaster. There is a table and 4 chairs in the living area. Guest access Guests have access to the entire cottage Other things to note Tea, coffee, sugar provided Towels are provided.
