The historic Beamer House is an elegant colonial plantation-style home. Set back front the street and framed by lush palm trees and a deep front porch, this home retains many of its original attributes, from the delicate support columns to the wavy glass windows found throughout the home. Fully renovated, originally built in 1860, possesses timeless photo opportunities for weddings, or special events. The space There are 3 bedrooms upstairs, one I rent, one is my sons (who is seldom here), and one is mine. A half bath is also upstairs, connected to this room rental. Downstairs, has a room I rent out, and the full bath as well as all the common living areas. Kitchen, dining, living, and sun rooms. Guest access If you rent a room on the first floor I ask that you not wander upstairs. I’m happy to give you a house tour if you’d like. There are plenty of areas to roam around and check out. You are welcome to use the living room, dining room, sun room, kitchen, front porch, back patio, pool area, and yard. During your stay I live here too, but do work. Please do not steal anything from my home, if you need anything at all, just ask, odds are I have it, and you are welcome to use it. There are cameras in certain areas set up for your protection as well as mine Other things to note There is a balcony on the second floor with a low, (not to code) railing. It is NOT suitable for small children or for anyone under the influence of alcohol or drugs. An injury or even death could occur if you fell off the balcony. (With that said, I go out there all the time and feel perfectly safe as a sober adult!)
